Hey all,

 With my first week as Aedile coming to an end, I thought I should put out a report. I've been tracking activity on a spreadsheet in hopes to more accurately keep up with happenings. Anything that comes up in my email gets put on there. Anything that doesn't get in my email does not get put on there, so that's just how it goes.  

First let me say that I'm really enjoying being back in a position. I'm liking Tridens and Tarentum more and more each day as I get to know everyone better on IRC and read the info on the website now that it's back. I hope I can meet and know everyone in the House that gets on IRC at least.

Competitions

Right now, this is the most important part of this report, in my opinion. I would love to see a very high percentage of participation in the clan-wide events that Anshar is running. There is a writing competition and a gaming competition. Both can be found on the competitions page here: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/competitions.asp . Look for the titles "Yridian Revolt." Details are there. Get on it!

Activity

GRD Tyrus: participated in and completed an ACC match

GRD Eric: passed Sith ESET Exam

ACO Melkor: Passed the ACC Initiates Exam, ICQ Exam, Leadership Applications Exam, MSN Exam, Sith CORE Exam, Leadership Studies Exam, and Krath Grammar Exam.

NOV Katalam: won an ACC match

NOV Chemetra: lost an ACC match by time-out

Master/Student Program

I am really going to push this program. I think it's one of the best things that our House and Clan has going for us. For one thing, we've got quite a few summit members who are already instrumental in the DB-wide organization and running of the Envoys and M/S program, this really gives us a leg up. We have no excuse, though, to not follow through with the program. Any member of Tridens below the rank of DJK that would like to fully experience the process of getting to that important rank, contact Welshman and request a master. Also, any member of Tridens of the rank of DJK or higher, contact Welshman to tell him that you are interested in taking on an apprentice. I myself am doing this and highly looking forward to it, I think it's one of the most important relationships and services that the Brotherhood can do right now: positively influence and spur new and lasting activity among the newer ranks of the House. As an added bonus, it also spurs and continues the activity of older members who choose to be masters.

Conclusion

So, I hope this week has gone well for everyone. Most everybody is fully back in the swing of things after the holidays now that MLK is past us. Let's keep the activity up and make our resolution to keep House Tridens where it belong: First House of the Sith.
