This is my first report, so I will be explaining some stuff as I go along... please stick with me! I think you might even find some of the information useful or perhaps amusing. Lets go!

Shadow Academy

Uh oh, I'm back in Office... which means Scholar of the Week and Scholar of the Month are back too! Break it down: Every week the member that completes the most SA courses is dubbed 'Scholar of the Week', each month (if you complete 10 or more SA courses) I will nominate my 'Scholars of the Month'. Which, by the way, nets you a Merit Award, a Dark Cross. So lets go harass Spears at the SA!

Only two people brave enough to attempt the SA this week: Scorpius and Talon!

In addition, I set a challenge before you all... if you can conquer 25 SA Courses, I will award you a Star of Antei (this is not in a single month, just in the long run!)

New members are the lifeblood of any organization, they represent that we are doing our jobs well and that the Club is continuing to grow. So lets take a moment to recognize the new members of our growing House. If you see them on IRC, give them a warm welcome!

ACC

I am a huge believer in the Antei Combat Center (ACC). I know that it develops a writer to have the following traits in their work: concise, realism, ingenuity, continuity, grammar. As those skills grow, so does the writer... and then, you begin to win a few matches! So lets look at whom was active in the ACC!

NOV Jaymz fought one battle: M'Kel!

DJK Famosus fought two battles: Dalthid and Sunflash!

KP M'Kel Kahn fought one battle: Jaymz! He won and was pushed up a rank!

So how am I going to encourage people to get active? Bribe you, of course. For 10 wins (or 20 matches) you will get a Dark Cross, for 20 wins (or 40 matches) you will get a Star of Antei, for 30 wins (or 50 matches) you will get a Steel Cross and if you get 40 wins (80 matches) I will personally lobby for a Grand Cross - as you will be the first to reach 40, ever.

Battle Teams

Alright folks here is the low down on Battle Teams, they rock. Both leaders (Thran and Aabsdu) go out of their way to ensure people have competitions to work on, a shoulder to lean on, etc. If you want to get noticed and move up the ranks fast, join a Team - plus, I have given them direct orders "Reward your most active member EVERY month."

Thran has recently reshaped his Battle Team into a more militant oriented squad: 19th Legion: Blades of Kun. This includes a very neat concept utilizing positions/roles to help shape team work and cohesive writing in fictional documents. He also has several open positions on his team!

Aabsdu is still in control of some of the best writers in the House, and he has been putting them to work in several Runons and exciting minor competitions. His team is very active and he has a few spots open on his team!

As I said, the most active member each month (from each BT) will get something shiny... this month, a Dark Cross.

Gaming

You get active with gaming, I get active with rewarding! Bring in a steady stream of Clusters of Fire (CFs) and Crescents, I'll show you the Merit promised land! So if you are a gamer.. I'll be looking to reward people for Tuesday/Thursday Gaming Nights, ICTE, Sunday Tourney and Grand Master's Royal Guard!
