Sith Commander Report

Introductions:

This report was supposed to be released last Saturday, but due to real-life, I wasn’t able to get it up. Therefore, I bring it to you today, and most likely, my reports will continue to be bi-weekly from here on. There is a lot to talk about in this report including everything from a new aedile and quaestor, new rules, and updates on the hopefully soon to be battle team war.

As for me personally, my life hasn’t had anything extra exciting happen that I would talk about. I went missing for around three days this past week, and returned to find our roster two members shorter. That was probably one of the greatest surprises I had this week.

What Recently Happened:

~We haven’t had too many awards or courses passed these past few weeks because we have been a bit slow since our Caption Contest, but that is to be expected. Just expect to get very busy come February, and only busier in the months to come. Remember that I always see the awards/courses you receive/pass and I remember them. I use this information for progress reports and even recommendations, so all I can say is stay active.

~Also, earlier five new Shadow Academy courses were created and put on the site, and some of you have already passed a few of them and for this, I congratulate you. The five new courses are Computer Safety, AOL Instant Messenger, Lightsaber Basics, Sith Alchemy, and Leadership Fundamentalists. More information on these and other courses can be found at http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/shadowacademy/sa/index.html

~Congratulations to Scorpius who received the most awards/courses passed for this three-week period.

Galaphile: ESET Passed - Leader App. passed

Scorpius: SoI x2 - DC x1- AIM passed

Virulence: DC x1 - LS x1

Ashura: DC x1

Famosus: DC x1

~ We also lost two of our members this past week. Galaphile left the clan to go to Taldryan with his master, and Wil (the man who spams our inboxes on a weekly basis chuckles) has become our great clan PCON. We wish them both the best at their new positions, and I know that while they may not be a part of the team anymore we’ll still stay in contact with them.

~ I also put out a short AWOL check this past week, and so far, everyone except for Marrick has replied. Marrick hasn’t even gotten out of his rank of apprentice since he joined, so I am guessing he is not planning to put a lot into the brotherhood. I’ll release a list tomorrow with the complete list of those dropped from our roster, plus a list of our current roster.

~ After Godo retired from his job as house leader to explore other career plans (IE: Drinking, sleeping, drinking, hanging out with the women, drinking, more sleeping) Gaidal stepped in to fill the spot. In Gaidal’s place stepped Braecen, a long time friend and an overall great person. He has set up a few “guidelines” for the battle teams that are mainly meant to keep them active and a strong force in the house/clan. Mainly these guidelines include bi-weekly reports, competitions to keep you all active, and activity awards.

~ One of the new traditions is activity awards. What this means is that at the end of each month I will award a dark cross to the member who was most active and helped the most. The winner for December/January was Famosus, and your award is currently being processed.

Current Projects:

~ As you all know, Thran and I have been working on the battle team war non-stop. At this point, we have a plot and website, so all that's left is some fiction parts that I have to write and the events that Thran is working on. I am hoping we can get this started sometime in February so that it will end before the Great Jedi War starts, because we all know how long those last.

Competitions:

~ We don't have any competitions running right now because I don't want anything to overlap with the war, so you can all relax and take a breather while we finish everything. After that, you will be doing events every week, and don't expect a break after the war is over. I already have two competitions for us to use afterwards, one being a run-on and the other trivia.

Future Projects:

~ After the war is over we will be having our trivia competition finally. Like last time it will be around fifty questions over star wars history and I will include a few bonus questions. This will probably happen a week or two after the war conclusion because I want to give you all a break after having so many events piled on you.

~ After our trivia competition, our second contest for the month (I am required to run two a month) will be another run-on. Gaidal, Godo, and I put this one together so I'm sure you all will love it. All I can say right now is that it will introduce yet another villain into the Exar's Shadow database.

Conclusion:

That's my report for this three-week period, and I will probably make my reports bi-weekly from here on. As always, if you have any competitions ideas, or you just need to ask/tell me something, I'm on IRC at least three to four hours a day. If you can't get me that way just email me, I usually respond within twelve hours.

So long for now,

DJK Aabsdu Dupar al'Tor (Sith)/CMDR/Exar Kun of Plagueis
