Hey all,

Hope you've all had a great week. Mine's been really busy, both with RL and DB stuff. I know that's kicking everyone, but I've noticed a small improvement in activity this week, and I like it.

News

So there's a new option in your Administration Menu now to take the "Advancement Survey" and, after you do that, the training saber exam. I encourage everyone to complete both of these. For one, it's required for all members DJK and under to ever get another promotion. On top of that, it counts for SA credit. Neither one is that hard, and the survey is really just your opinions. It helps all of your leadership out to complete these and be honest, so take 2 minutes and do it. Many people have already stepped up and completed it.

As far as competitions go, Round 3 of the Yridian Revolt Clan Competition ended recently and Round 4 is currently set in motion. More details about these have been in Anshar's emails and can also be found on the competitions page of the DB website. Tridens has been doing very well as competitors in the competition. Keep it up for one last round and let's win some overall credit!

Dark Education

As I mentioned earlier, the survey and training saber count for SA credit and get added to your ID line. Here are people who have completed these:

Promotions and ACC activity

Since our only promotion this week was through ACC activity, I decided to lump them in together here. Katalam won an ACC match this week and gained the new rank of Sentinel in the ACC. With this came a promotion to Acolyte. Congratulations, Katalam, and keep up the good work. I'd love to see Tridens be even more active in the ACC.

Medals

Really good medal activity this week with the clan comp and everything. I'm proud of you guys, you do Tridens well and I hope members can look up to these examples to see what activity really is.

Elric: Awarded a Crescent with Sapphire Star for taking Second Place in the 3rd Round Writing portion of the clan comp. Congrats!

Melkor: Awarded a Crescent with Amethyst Star for taking First Place in the 3rd Round Writing portion of the clan comp. Congrats!

(Special note: Elric and Melkor were not only the winners but also the only two to enter the writing competition. This shows how dedicated these members are. I am very proud of this work, and I hope everyone can see how easy it is to enter the competition and be awarded for your activity.)

JKast: Awarded a Crescent with Amethyst Star for taking First Place in the 3rd Round Gaming portion of the clan comp, awarded a Legion of the Scholar for winning First Place in the January Clan trivia, awarded 30 Clusters of Fire.

Great job, everyone. This is the kind of activity that should be expected as a minimum. We should have weeks coming in the future where we pull even better than this.

Conclusion

This week certainly looked better than last week, and I'm looking forward to getting everyone involved in this fourth and final round of the clan competition. You can do it, guys, it doesn't take that long to even participate a little, and it will be recognized by the House and Clan leadership. Keep at least this much activity up, and let's take this competition by storm.
