I want to deeply apologize to everyone in the Clan. This past week has been pure torture from a health perspective. Just today have I even felt like sitting at the computer for any period of time, let alone checking my emails. I was getting better early this past week, but something happened on Tuesday and I found myself down with a mild case of "walking" pneumonia. I'm only at about 70%, but I am coming back to full health. Now if I could only find my voice again. For some reason the doctor can't figure out, I completely lost my voice and continue to have trouble getting it back. Right now it takes some effort to be audibly heard. Of course my wife says that this is a temporary blessing, but what does she know. :P

Because of my recent health status I unfortunately had to let the Weekly Caption Competition slip. However, I have gone over the submissions for Week 2 and have also submitted the award requests. The following members were selected as the top 3 placers for Week 2.

Congratulations guys! Unfortunately though I am disappointed by the fact that only 10 submissions were sent in. How hard is it to simply look at a picture and then decide what the caption should say for it, then send that in as a submission? I really hope to see some increased participation. I mean, these are like free awards for doing so little. Can't ask for much more than that. ;)

Congratulations to Prelate Arawn Lugh Entar on becoming the new QUA of House Satal Keto! Judging from the emails I've read through already it seems that Arawn is already off to a great start in his new position.

The Grand Master asked the Summits to pass along this tidbit of information. Any leaders in the DB that need space or a subdomain through the DB domain many now request them through ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]), along with the details of what is needed. This is now available due to recent upgrades to the DB's primary servers!

Kudos to the Muz on the continue progression of the new robe images. I was looking at the recent updates to the robes on my dossier a little while ago and am greatly impressed with the progress made recently. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished results. :)

I'd like to formally congratulate my Apprentice, Reshiand Tolter, for recently completing his tasks and trials to reach the rank of Guardian. I took much enjoyment in submitting his promotion request. I encourage all Masters to double their efforts to help move their Apprentices along. The more Knights we have in our ranks the stronger Clan Plagueis will become! If your eligible to be a Master and haven't yet taken on an Apprentice, contact the Clan Envoy today and submit yourself for the program.

Specifics:

A monthly competition where we reward the three most active members of the

Clan for their efforts in continuing their training at the Shadow Academy.

The members who successfully complete the most courses will be awarded

Third Level Crescent awards.

Comments:

Plagueis Pronconsul will oversee the tracking and recording of all

completed courses each month, and will submit reward requests at the end

of each monthly period. Due to the late start date of this competition,

results will be back dated to 03/01/06 to ensure a full months record for

March.

  1. Title: [BT KV] Smart Clones Run-On

Specifics:

Just before the Clone Wars, a cloning facility not affiliated with Kamino

also received a call requesting mass production of clones from Jango Fett.

The clones did not do as well, with only about 50% making it out of the

test tubes and half of the survivors being fit for combat. The other half

had problems, either mentally or physically (too weak, mentally inept,

etc.). A very small number were too intelligent, and a handful of them

managed to escape from the cloning facility. They came back a few years

later and took control of the facility. However, one of the facility's

original managers flooded the facility with a process similar to what Hanv Solo was carbonized in. All of the clones, the defects, the normal

clones, and the super-intelligent ones, along with a small number of the

management's faculty, were trapped in space and time.

The facility, located on a remote moon in and out-of-the-way solar system,

was discovered by a Sith on the way back from an assignment, and Keto's

Vengeance has been given the honor of securing the facility. It willv serve as a good testing ground, to root out the weak, and will also add a

small base to CP/HSK. At the very least, the power generators (and other

valuable items) from the facility can be removed to the HSK capital

planet.

The run-on will start 10 days from now, will end in one months, and will

be in the HSK forums, untill I get the team forums set up.

Specifics:

The Consul of Clan Plagueis has gathered his ACC Warriors for a training

competition. The Clan Plagueis members with the most wins over a 3 week

period will earn 3rd level crescents for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

All matches should be held in the Combat Centre with a 8/+2 format.

  1. Title: [CP] Riddle Me This v3.0

Specifics:

Time to return to my infamous Riddle Me this competition. As before, I

will release a riddle every 3 days to the clan mailing list. First to

answer correctly earns themselves a point. At the end of the event (total

of 20 riddles) the Top 3 point-collectors will be award 3rd level

crescents (CON/PCON will award). However, as this event is famous for,

members can also submit riddles to myself in an attempt to stump the

Riddle Master of CP. Those that stump WH, will be awarded a LSS(CON/PCON

will award).

  1. Title: The Dawning of War – A HSK Run-on

I've posted the first post of the new house run-on here:

I look forward to seeing the creativity that you guys have and where

you take this story. Kromtal and I will be making sure that things

basically stay on track, but monitor yourself and make sure you stay

on course with what everyone else is writing.

I plan on letting this run until it comes to an end, so it's up to you

guys how long this lasts. At the end I will be awarding the top three

members who overall make the best contributions to the run-on. They

will receive Crescents for their hard work. Also, we're gonna pick

out the best individual post overall. This person will receive

something, but I'm not quite sure yet what that will be.

I hope this is fun and if you have questions let me know. Oh, the

first few posts might be a little short until we see who's all on

board and then I'll give my orders, which will speed things up. Just

thought you guys should know that.

Quaestor, House Satal Keto

  1. Title: [CP] Murder Mystery League Mini's

Specifics:

In honour of the MMLs the KHP used to host, I am hosting a clan MML for

CLan Plagueis. For exactly a week and a half the members of CP will have

time to form a team of 2-5 members and write up a murder mystery story.

After the week and a half, I will go through the submitted stories and

insure that they fit. After this review time, teams will be given one of

the other stories and will have a week to solve it, afterwards switching

for the next story until each team as gone through the others (and 1

provided by myself).

Teams will have a week to solve each story, will only be able to view 1 at

a time, and only have 1 guess per story.

Teams will be awarded 1 point for a correct answer, and 1 point for each

team their story stumps.

At the end of the competition teams will nominate an MVP from their team.

Top 3 teams get 3rd level cresecents, each team MVP earns a LSS.
