ROBES!!!!!

You'll have noticed that the Knights, the Equites, the Jedi Hunters, and the Guardians all have the newly rendered robes on their dossiers. I am replacing them as i work through the kits, so if you don't have yours yet, they are on the way.<p> Just so that you know, The full robes project (which i keep referencing has almost a thousand varieties and customization capacity that will be activated with a robes selector very similar to the one we have for the lightsabers now. And everyone is very excited about this... except my computer, who hates the idea. :P<p>

-> <- <p> There have been a few questions about the fact that you can't select white or orange blades with the saber selector. There is a reason for this. The first reason is that The new saber selector is based off of the sabers of the six films. As you might have noticed, the hilts are all replicas of some character's weapon from the films. The second reason is that under the new possessions stuff that will be coming with rebirth, some of the rarer crystals (of which silver and white blades are made, as well as orange), are a more rare variety. So yes, there is a reason.

At any rate, if you are of the rank to request a custom lightsaber (DJK + 2), you can still request a saber with these colors.<p>

-> <- <p> George Lucas in the Sci-Fi Hall of Fame

George Lucas will be admitted into the Science Fiction Museum's Hall of Fame in a ceremony held on June 17th.

Here is a cool interview with GL. He talks about digital effects, piracy, and some cool ideas of how he thinks that theaters will have to work soon.<p>

So, a short report this week, and that's a good thing...as it means that i was busy working on the robes. ;) See you around.
