Busy week all around, but it is great to see the Clan continue this pace in activity week after week. The CON and I were talking earlier this week about the turnaround Plagueis has taken in the past two months. Each of you deserve a pat on the back for a job well done. With each week we see more and more activity, as well as promotions and awards. For those outside the Clan that thought they were seeing the demise of Plagueis we have collectively worked hard to turn that impression around!
The Clan Summit was informed this week that Clan Plagueis came in Second in the Knight Commander's Clan Challenge during the month of February. This also included the first week of March since February was a shorter month. When the challenge began Plagueis was running an average 4.5% retention rate amongst our APP to ACO ranks, meaning that we were losing far more than we were keeping each month. However, we have been informed that the Clan as a whole increased its retention rate up to 17.8%! Now for those of you that don't understand what this means, it means that during the period mentioned, 17.8% of our new members reached the rank of ACO or higher. The key to successfully keeping members is to help guide them through their early ranks to reach PRT, where from there they can eventually become Apprentices to a Master within the Clan. Our ultimate goal is of course 100%, but the goal of the Grand Master is for us to reach a monthly average of 25%. We're well on our way!
With that news I wish to extend a hearty pat on the back to our Envoys, House Summit leaders, Battle Team Commanders, and of course the membership in general. The way everyone has been pulling together these past two months to not only welcome our newest members, but also to help guide them along has been outstanding! We are definitely seeing a different Clan these days!
Effective immediately the Clan Summit is now requiring all members that host a competition to send out not only the final results from the competition, but also a complete list of all those that participated so that House and Battle Team leaders may update their records of activity. To often this activity is being overlooked in being recorded, and it could mean the difference in promoting or awarding someone for their overall activity. For our lower ranked members participation in a competition is a key requirement for promotion. But if their activity is not noted, then their promotions may be overlooked. A major push is being made within the entire Dark Brotherhood to ensure that such activity is properly reported. Eventually it is hoped to have some form of database function to support this, but for the time being we'll simply have to rely on using good old emails to fulfill this obligation.
The use of ID Lines in all official inter-Clan and Dark Brotherhood emails is now in effect within Clan Plagueis. With 85 people in our ranks its getting harder to try and remember everyone's email addresses. So effective immediately all personnel are expected to begin making this standard practice. Not only does it allow the receiver to know who they are talking to, but it also is just good ol' plain manners. ;P
I'm discussing an idea with the CON about amending our present Master/Student program guidelines. The amendment would involve changing the minimum rank eligibility from Guardian to Protector. I have spoken about this issue with quite a number of folks in Plagueis recently and the concensus is the same, allowing Protector's the ability to be chosen as a Student ensures that there are no gaps in the training process for our members. The CON has been quite busy lately, as many of you are aware, so I hope to have a reply and resolution to this matter by my next report. Fear not Protector's, we've got you covered! ;)

I want to remind everyone about the monthly Plagueis Shadow Academy Competition, where the Top 3 are awarded a Third Level Crescent for having taken the most courses. Full details about the competition can be found below in the "Competitions" section. There are 12 days left in this month, so plenty of time to rachet up your count!
The Plagueis Monthly ACC Duel has begun! It will be backdated to the beginning of March to ensure that everyone's ACC activity this month is counted. The rules are simple, compete in a match at the ACC, and if you win that match then the result is recorded. The Top 3 members will be awarded each month with Third Level Crescents! This set as a revolving monthly competition in order to support ACC activity, but also reward our members that fight hard through the ACC. 12 days remain in the month, so get busy with those matches! Week 4 of the Plagueis Caption Competition is underway! So far I've received 6 submissions, but out of a Clan of 85 people this is pretty slim. It's the easiest competition running right now, and only takes a moment of your time to submit an entry. Don't let the fact that only three medals are being given out, there is always a chance you could win one! Plus, participation in this competition counts as general activity, and for those of APP to ACO ranks, its one of the easiest competitions you could participate in. A word of warning for APP to ACO's though, you must participate in at least 4 weeks of this competition to qualify for the competition participation on the Plagueis Promotion Guide.
There were some key promotions this week, along with all the other worthy ones. Be sure and congratulate our newest promotees when you see them on IRC or around the various Clan hauntings. :)
A reminder that cloning in the Dark Brotherhood is forbidden. So far we're not aware of any violations, but it never hurts to remind folks of this standing policy and prevent any possible problems in the future. :P

Plagueis Pronconsul will oversee the tracking and recording of all
completed courses each month, and will submit reward requests at the end
of each monthly period. Due to the late start date of this competition,
results will be back dated to 03/01/06 to ensure a full months record for
March.
- Title: [BT KV] Smart Clones Run-On
Specifics:
Just before the Clone Wars, a cloning facility not affiliated with Kamino
also received a call requesting mass production of clones from Jango Fett.
The clones did not do as well, with only about 50% making it out of the
test tubes and half of the survivors being fit for combat. The other half
had problems, either mentally or physically (too weak, mentally inept,
etc.). A very small number were too intelligent, and a handful of them
managed to escape from the cloning facility. They came back a few years
later and took control of the facility. However, one of the facility's
original managers flooded the facility with a process similar to what Hanv Solo was carbonized in. All of the clones, the defects, the normal
clones, and the super-intelligent ones, along with a small number of the
management's faculty, were trapped in space and time.
The facility, located on a remote moon in and out-of-the-way solar system,
was discovered by a Sith on the way back from an assignment, and Keto's
Vengeance has been given the honor of securing the facility. It willv serve as a good testing ground, to root out the weak, and will also add a
small base to CP/HSK. At the very least, the power generators (and other
valuable items) from the facility can be removed to the HSK capital
planet.
The run-on will start 10 days from now, will end in one months, and will
be in the HSK forums, untill I get the team forums set up.

you take this story. Kromtal and I will be making sure that things
basically stay on track, but monitor yourself and make sure you stay
on course with what everyone else is writing.
I plan on letting this run until it comes to an end, so it's up to you
guys how long this lasts. At the end I will be awarding the top three
members who overall make the best contributions to the run-on. They
will receive Crescents for their hard work. Also, we're gonna pick
out the best individual post overall. This person will receive
something, but I'm not quite sure yet what that will be.
I hope this is fun and if you have questions let me know. Oh, the
first few posts might be a little short until we see who's all on
board and then I'll give my orders, which will speed things up. Just
thought you guys should know that.

- Title: [CP] Murder Mystery League Mini's
Specifics:
In honour of the MMLs the KHP used to host, I am hosting a clan MML for
CLan Plagueis. For exactly a week and a half the members of CP will have
time to form a team of 2-5 members and write up a murder mystery story.
After the week and a half, I will go through the submitted stories and
insure that they fit. After this review time, teams will be given one of
the other stories and will have a week to solve it, afterwards switching
for the next story until each team as gone through the others (and 1
provided by myself).
Teams will have a week to solve each story, will only be able to view 1 at
a time, and only have 1 guess per story.
Teams will be awarded 1 point for a correct answer, and 1 point for each
team their story stumps.
At the end of the competition teams will nominate an MVP from their team.
Top 3 teams get 3rd level cresecents, each team MVP earns a LSS.
