Intro!

Greetings Members of Oriens,

Well then, I guess today’s report will be a bit different in mood swing. Now I come to you as a (temporary) Quaestor.

Smoke is on a LOA for a few weeks, the reasons are unknown to me, but I do know that when he takes an LOA, he only does so when needed. Please, when seeing him on IRC, don’t get on his nerves or anything or bug him with Questions. For now I am your bitch until Smoke says otherwise.

I am working on some Competitions, with one being a ‘Think of a cool Comp-comp”

Reason is because you all can say what you like and don’t have to worry about running it. However, people keep forgetting I wont bite your head off when you mail me with a comp. If I do not like it, I will tell you with a reason to it. If I don’t like it for no apparent reason, it’s going to happen, no worries there 

So much for the intro, I’ll have to go and sit in the big man’s chair now before he returns…I wonder if he has beer around here….

Well then, time for my conclusion of this week.

This week has been a quiet one, more at ease for most members, but that’s not bad, we cant be expected to rock every week of the year.

Weeks like this are not encouraged, of course, but understandable. I personally don’t mind (gives me less report to write :P) and it gives you some time to relax for a while.

I will set up comps this weekend, and start them Monday.

On a whole different note: Welcome back Devani! We missed you 

About next week report, I’ll do that one as well. Though Smoke will be pissed when he reads this, I don’t mind. He needs to get some rest and figure things out, and while he does the house is under my command, and my job is to lead you all. It is a hard talk and because it is so sudden little preparation from my side has been made, like for comps, which was original Smoke’s turn this few weeks.

I have also to tell I may have a very short LOA on my hands. You all probably know about my medical condition (Hernia) and I need to go to surgeon for that. Until that happens, I’ll be here.

Story

This is a special feature I wanted to add to this report. A Story. Each report will have a part of a story. Just something to keep you having fun while reading it. Like a present to you. If you do not want to read it, then don’t, it’s not like its going to be in the trivia or anything. Enjoy!

”Damn.”

The Obelisk sat behind a pillar, finally found the gem he was looking for. The Green Eye Emerald was one of the few stones in the galaxy with an incredible value.

When the Knight had finally reached the room he found out that there was another band of criminals within the base walls, other than the Dark Jedi’s stealth approach they used a more aggressive move, bomb the place and take it.

Why the gem was of so much value the Knight still didn’t know, but he was on a mission and there was no way he could go back now, not empty handed.

Ylith moved from behind the pillar, facing four automated turret towers. Each tower had eight barrels on each of its four sides and they could be fired together or alone.

Ylith whizzed his saber around his body, fighting his way to the gem, but even with his training as a Dark Jedi Knight, the Obelisk was his at his leg and shoulder, forcing him to take cover behind another pillar.

Ylith had to think of something to divert them and suddenly the Knight had an idea. The knight stabbed his Valheru sword into the ground and ignited his saber, holding the tip of the energy blade near the mid of the Valheru sword, not touching it, only heating it until it was glowing.

When it did the Knight threw the Valheru sword in front of the Turrets. The machines, who focus mainly upon body heat of the living and the electric heat of machines, locked onto the sword, firing at it. The knight used the force to pull the Sword in an angle, so the laser fire was mirrored back at the ceiling, causing a part to collapse upon the turrets.

Ylith moved to the Emerald, placed behind a huge steel wall. The Knight used his saber to cut himself a hole so he could grab the gem.

Now he had to get out of there, avoiding multiple bandits and returning home to figure out what the hell was going on.
