Clan Plagueis

        **_Life and Death through Darkness_**

Awards: Over the past two months I have had a great opportunity to be a part of Clan Plagueis and watch the exceptional activity of some outstanding people. From time to time I will throw on my Santa Sarin hat and award large groups Merit awards. This past week I took the time to write up several awards for people who I believe have made a significant impact in Clan Plagueis. Congratulations to:

**Big Award: **I also awarded KAP Braecen Isradia Kunar the Sapphire Blade for his continued outstanding activity and hard work over the past four months. Braecen has served as an example to all members on what an active leader in a Clan should strive to be. Congrats Braecent!

Promotions: Congratulations to Dark Jedi Knight Kromtal Stormfyld on earning his Lightsaber and congratulations to Krath Priest Scorpius on entering the Equite Class! Drinks are on you!

Council of the Wise: The Council of the Wise has been established in Clan Plagueis. The Council of the Wise will serve as a permanent body of Advisors to the Consul of Clan Plagueis. Members will be elected by the Consul and the two senior members of the Council. Details on the Council of the Wise will be made available on our website as soon as the code monkey returns from his LoA. Prior to the Content going on the Website, I would like to take the time to appoint our first two members. They are:

Loremaster (Purple): DA Jonaleth Isradia The greatest and wisest scholar of Plagueis is chosen for this post. To them is entrusted the ancient knowledge of Lord Plagueis, and control of the Book of Shadows. They are the greatest teacher of the Clan, the Master of Masters, and keeper of the sacred histories and artefacts. To them falls the duty to preserve these things, and teach the younger members the ways of Plagueis and the Dark Side. They are acknowledged as the most skilled in the Force and the powers of the Clan, and are consulted for long forgotten lore and answers. The Loremaster is also head of the Council of the Wise.

Swordmaster (Blue) DJM Corran Force Champion of Plagueis and General of the Armies of Life and Death, the Swordmaster is sworn protector of the summit of Clan Plagueis, and guardian of its fortresses and domiciles. They are greatest and most skilled combatant within the Clan, and lead the armies into battle at the summits decree.

Prodigy of Plagueis: Occasionally a member will truly go above and beyond the call of duty, creating a harmony that will lift them above their peers. This true harmony between latent skills will garner one great prestige, unprecedented in Clan history. This is nearly impossible, except to those who have the utmost dedication and activity in their efforts for the Clan.

These individuals fall into the same flow as former great Dark Jedi, and thereby their accordance to harmony will garner them the title of Prodigy of Plagueis. They will use their advanced skills to further their House, Clan and the Brotherhood as a whole. Amongst their normal duties they will collect another set: Protector of the Clan Summit. Not only will they be responsible for the safety of both Consul and Proconsul, but also the security of the Clan itself.

Members who join this elite group are Champions of the Clan and have earned their position through hard work and dedication. These are the assassins, scholars and taskmasters of the Clan. They are the highest moral authority amongst the regular members of the Clan and are much admired...

The new Prodigy of Plagueis is: Sith Warrior Aabsdu Dupar al'Tor! Aabs was selected by the Leaders of Clan Plagueis in an overwhelming majority (CON, PCON, Clan Envoy, QUAs, AEDs). Congrats Aabsdu!

New Force Powers: The Clan Force Powers have been updated and our now Officially official! DA Jonaleth and I worked over our old powers in an effort to improve them and make them fit in better with any impending Rebirth RPG schemes. At the very least, these new powers are much cooler! **Chronicle: **I heard a little birdy this week say that the Evil Dark Jedi Master Sarin had intentions of Censoring the Plagueis Chronicle. Let me be the first to tell you that no such thing is ever going to happen as long as I am Consul of this Clan. The Plagueis Chronicle is a place for the exchange of ideas, oppinions, editorials, and stick figures fighting over Nabooian Plasma Cores. I am proud of the Chronicle and I am proud of our writers and the writers from other Clans who participate. I encourage members to write their oppinions and their feelings in an effort to spur debate and conversation. The DB succeeds because it is a place where oppinions and ideas can be discussed without the fear of heavy handed leadership coming down (see EH :p). I only ask that everyone remembers that articles should be about ideas, should support ideas, should attack ideas, BUT they should never attack a person.

**Website: **I'd like to remind everyone to visit the new Clan website http://plagueis.darkjedibrotherhood.com/news.php, and the Clan MB forums, on a daily basis to be sure that you're up on the latest news and information. We are actively using the News section on the Clan site, so you will always find the latest info there as it is released! Besides, there is a lot of great information on the Clan site. I have lots of new stuff waiting to go on, if you have any PHP skills let me know, I need help!

V is for Vendetta: Go See it. I loved it, my wife hated it. Thus, it must be an instant Classic. Elrond/Agent Smith does a fantastic job as the Voice of V.

The Golden Rule: It is the most simple of all rules. We are taught it as children and we are reminded of it every time someone treats us poorly. The Golden Rule is simple "Treat others as you would like to be treated." I want our members to practice the Golden Rule and keep in mind over the next several weeks. Do not attempt to provoke or incite your Clansmates and do not cause needless grief. If you do, I will break you Dark Jedi Master Style.

If its a House matter, I do ask that you take it up with the House Summit first, then if that doesn't resolve your problem, feel free bring it to my attention. If your problem is with the House Summit in general, and by that I mean both the QUA and AED, then by all means come to me immediately, as well as the Consul, and we'll help resolve the problem ASAP.
