Okay, got a lot of News this week, so hang in there.

IRC

  Well, I would like to try and have #Soulfire used more often. I wish to have this channel open for us to chat in, discuss things, and have weekly meetings. If any of you have CService names, please send them to me that way I can look into getting the channel with X. That would make the recent op problems go away. :-)

Meetings

  Every Wednesday, unless a better day is chosen, at 3:15 p.m. EST, I wish to hold Battle Team meetings. These will last for however long they need to be, as long as we have topics to discuss. I might even try to get a series of Trivia competitions set up for the meeting days. So I will have more information for you all as the meetings go on. 

**Second in Command

  **I wish to congratulate Sashar (Dash) on his appointment to Second in Command of Soulfire Strike Team. His term will be a month long, and I will let you all know when I will be accepting 'applications' again. Remember, you can keep the position for more then a month straight, so if I get no applications/good applications, Dash is here to stay.

Gaming

  I have to say that I am very happy with the amount of gaming activity we have been displaying. We have close to a fully active Battle Team, and just about all of us can game and write, so that is excellent. I hope to have Training Days too, so I'll talk about those next. Oh, and before I forget: Hoorah for me getting Third in ICTE!!!

**Training Days

  **Okay, this is an idea that I have been playing with since before I even came to Galeres. I would like to see the Battle Team meet once every other week and train with each other. Whether it be in JA, JO, ACC, ACCLive!, or any other games. Doesn't matter to me. This day, so far, has been agreed to be on every other Sunday. This is not the Sunday of the SIT though, so don't get those mistaken. 

Future Plans

  Well, there have been some plans floating around about what we could do for Soulfire. One of them is a Writing Class type deal. You would send your writings to a specified person, which Dash has gladly volunteered, and that person would let you know how to better your writing skills. Another plan, as stated before, is the Training Days/Nights. We already have amazing gaming activity, so if we can hone our skills and become even better, we could get all three places in ICTE one day. I know it.

The activity lately has been great, as usual. I am glad to see the Battle Team getting into Gaming, and I'm glad to see the RO being worked on. Just try to get some more ACC stuff done. I really want to see us get to be a dual purpose Battle Team doing both gaming and writing.

I have to say one thing though. I really wish to get weekly updates from all of you on what you have been doing. If you could send these on Wednesdays, I would appreciate it. So far, only Jeax has been sending me activity updates. Just write down what you have been doing, and send me an email. Yes, that even means you, Dash.

As for ICTE stuff...Your very own Sarge got third place! Hoorah!

Good job to all of you who are staying active in the Shadow Academy! It's good to keep yourselves up to date on all there is to know in the DJB! Keep up the good work, Soulfire!
