Wow, Report #10! Where has the time gone? :P
Every week I briefly talk about how pleased I am with the direction the Clan is heading, and this week I'm more impressed than I have been before. Things continue to head in the right direction, and HSK is finally finding itself with a stable House Summit. New internal changes are in the works to improve HEK, and the Clan Summit continues to watch over all aspects of the Clan to ensure that things stay on course. But we are here to serve the members, so keep your input and ideas coming, we consider everything and try to find the best ways to implement ideas that can work for the entire Clan.
Just a quick note before going on further with the report, but if you find anything missing or omitted, its most likely due to some problems with the DB mailers. The problem became apparent about two days ago, and has been reported to the various DC where the problems have been found. As a result there may be some promotion or competition announcements not mentioned today simply based on not having received the official notices. However all attempts to ensure accuracy of our activity records has been taken, but nothing is 100% guaranteed. :P
The Consul has released the April Monthly Fiction and Poetry topics. This months Fiction topic is "Vengeance", and the Poetry topic is "What comes is better than what came before." Full details of these competitions can be found below in the "Internal Clan/House Competitions" section. Good luck!
At this time I want to remind all CP Masters that if you have not yet selected an Apprentice to please do so as soon as possible. We still have non-assigned members that need to continue their Dark Side training to reach DJK. Masters are requested to notify their House Envoys with the name of their chosen Apprentice, but to await final approval from the Clan Summit before contacting the Apprentice directly with their training instructions.
Congratulations to DJK Orzon on his selection as the new HEK Envoy! He was already filling in unofficially as Assistant House Envoy during Drodik's absence, and the CON and I agreed with the HEK Summit that a change needed to be made immediately to ensure the stability of HEK's lower ranks. Congrats Orz old buddy!! :)
Congratulations and welcome to SW Daniel Stephens who has transferred in to join us as the new HSK Aedile! His first week on the job has kept him VERY busy, but he's settled in quite well already. Congrats Daniel, and welcome to CP!! :)
Some of you have recently been inquiring to me about the status of our Clan Envoy. Unforunately I am saddened to report that KAP Virthril Isradia Kunar hasn't responded to any email attempts to reach him in order to determine his status. He was given until today to respond, and no such response has been forthcoming. The CON and I have talked it over and effective immediately Vithril is removed as Clan Envoy of Plagueis. The CON will make an official announcement shortly regarding how a new Clan Envoy will be selected. In the meantime, all CP members are to continue contacting the Clan Summit with any Clan Envoy and M/S Program matters.
The Summit of HEK submitted a very interesting proposal this week for re-organizing the Battleteams within the House. The CON and I found it quite intriguiging and have given the green light for them to proceed. HEK members can expect to hear from their House Summit soon with more details about these exciting changes!
Believe it or not, (most would say not :P), but I really CAN take a joke when it involves humor directed at me personally. I think a few can attest to that based on replies I made to the following comic strip (http://darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/shadowacademy/sa/kromtal/cpcomic1.jpg) that was released this week by DJK Kromtal Stormfyld. Unfortunately DJK Stormfyld is presently unavailable for congratulations on his recent creation due to having been sent on a secret mission to an undisclosed location. His ETA for return is unknown, it'll depend on whether or not he can find his way back through the invisible blackhole he accidentally feel into. Seems there was an "accidental" error made when he was given his course coordinates. WHOOPS! >:D

I'd like to remind everyone about the "How Would A DJK Party?" Fiction Competition presently running. This is a Clan-wide competition, and is open to everyone, pre-DJK and DJK+ ranks alike. Only one entry has been submitted, so there's still a LOT of opportunities for you to submit a story and win something! Remember, there are a total of 20 medals up for grabs in this competition. Full details of the competition can be found below in the "Internal Clan/House Competitions" section.
The "Tal Invitational Tournament" has started! All Plagueis members that signed up to compete should check out who you've been paired with for the First Round Events! I believe that submissions for the March Edition of the Plagueis Chronicle are still being accepted until April 3rd, which is tomorrow. Braecen please feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken, but I thought I'd read that date somewhere. Remember, now is a good time to also begin planning submissions for the April edition! Internal Clan/House Competitions
- Title: How would a DJK party?
Specifics:
This two-week Fiction competition allows individual members to describe
how they would, or did, celebrate their elevation to the rank of Dark Jedi
Knight. This competition will be divided into two categories; one for
members that will become a DJK, and one for members that already hold the
rank of DJK or higher. Each category will include three sub-categories for
"Most Creative Storyline", "Best Overall Storyline", and "Most Outrageous
Storyline", with 1st to 3rd place awards offered for each sub-category. In
addition, one story from each category will be judged as the "Most
Impressively Written Story", based on how well the story is written,
punctuation, spelling and so forth, as well as how well the overally
storyline flowed. A total of 20 awards will be handed out for this
competition, ensuring that there are plenty of awards to go around within
the Clan!

- Title: [BT KV] Smart Clones Run-On
Specifics:
Just before the Clone Wars, a cloning facility not affiliated with Kamino
also received a call requesting mass production of clones from Jango Fett.
The clones did not do as well, with only about 50% making it out of the
test tubes and half of the survivors being fit for combat. The other half
had problems, either mentally or physically (too weak, mentally inept,
etc.). A very small number were too intelligent, and a handful of them
managed to escape from the cloning facility. They came back a few years
later and took control of the facility. However, one of the facility's
original managers flooded the facility with a process similar to what Hanv Solo was carbonized in. All of the clones, the defects, the normal
clones, and the super-intelligent ones, along with a small number of the
management's faculty, were trapped in space and time.
The facility, located on a remote moon in and out-of-the-way solar system,
was discovered by a Sith on the way back from an assignment, and Keto's
Vengeance has been given the honor of securing the facility. It willv serve as a good testing ground, to root out the weak, and will also add a
small base to CP/HSK. At the very least, the power generators (and other
valuable items) from the facility can be removed to the HSK capital
planet.
The run-on will start 10 days from now, will end in one months, and will
be in the HSK forums, untill I get the team forums set up.
