Can you believe it? This report marks 3 months as Proconsul of Plagueis! There's been a lot of ups and downs along the way, but Plagueis has found its way, and there are more great things ahead for us! :)
So, some major Summit and leadership changes took place this past week! Without further delay, here's a recap of what has taken place in the Summit and leadership positions within Clan Plagueis.

Congratulations to each of these members, each of whom have proven their abilities in the past to now hold their newly listed positions. With these appointments a new turning point has been reached within Clan Plagueis! These appointments mark a new energy and focus for both Houses, as well as for the members that serve within them. DJM Sarin and I are really looking forward to the future, a lot of great things are coming our way! :)
A special thanks and congratulations to DA Jonaleth Isradia on his recent Ruby Scepter award! Those of you that know Jonaleth know that he is by far one of the most, if not the most, commited and loyal members to Clan Plagueis. His accomplishments and assistance are too numerous to properly list, but he has been involved in nearly all aspects of Clan Plagueis since its founding. He is without a doubt one of the most respected Elders the Dark Brotherhood has, and the majority of this Clan look up to him for his wisdom and advice on many an occasion. Jonaleth, on behalf of the Clan, congratulations on a much deserved award!!!
Congratulations to Galaphile Elesendil on joining the Knighthood! On April 18th Galaphile successfully completed the Knight Trials of Clan Plagueis to be officially deemed a Dark Jedi Knight! Excellent job DJK Galaphile Elesendil!!
This congrats is a special one to me because it involves my own Student, Julius Caesar (aka Reshiand Tolter). On April 23rd he successfully completed his requirements to be promoted to the rank of Jedi Hunter! He now prepares to undertake the Clan Trials to one day join the ranks of the Knighted within Clan Plagueis! Congrats Julius, its been a pleasure being your Master, and I look forward to the ceremony where you are finally honored with the title of Dark Jedi Knight! :)
SW BubbaX has been appointed as the Clans new webmaster! He's been hard at work this past week sorting out where things were left off, and has been making additions and updates as they are requested. Therefore while the site continues to go through its transitions, please refrain from bugging Bubba too much. If you think something needs to be changed, bring it to the attention of the CON and/or PCON first and we'll decide if its an immediate need, or if its something that can be looked into at a later time.
Well unless you've been living under a rock on some remote planet outside the known galaxy, then your aware of the current Feud amongst 4 of the 6 Clans in the Dark Brotherhood. The full details are posted on the DB News and Clan News pages. The House Summits have done an outstanding job of getting the information out, as have the Battleteam Leaders. For the pride of Plagueis, and some potential new goodies for the Clan, go participate and lets prove to the entire Brotherhood why Clan Plagueis is a power to be feared!
Last week I mentioned some new Clan competitions that I'm designing to help our APP to ACO brethren with their advancement opportunities. Unfortunately due to some complications and unsuspecting surprises this week, things have been put on the back burner until later this next week. Sorry guys, but it does give me time to go over some of my ideas further with the CON and our new Clan Envoy.
As I write this the Clan currently sits at 100 members! This is a great accomplishment, however due to some inactive APP to ACO members, this number could decrease, so in addition to the hard work the Envoys are putting in to turn this around, I'm also asking all members, especially House Summits and BTLs, to do their part in encouraging our APP, NOV and ACOs to become active and get promoted up to PRT. Once they reach Protector they'll be eligible for pairing with a Master to pursue their advanced training. In the meantime, keep recruiting, we're doing a great job in bringing in new members. Hell, in some cases we even see some old ones returning from the Rogues! :)
For all you Apprentices, Novices and Acolytes that are reading this report. Some of you are in danger of being removed from the Clan Roster for simply failing to be active. The guidelines for promoting you to the next rank(s) are quite easy to complete, and the Envoys have been doing an outstanding job of trying to impress this point to each of you. Once you reach the rank of Protector you'll find many more exciting opportunities, but first you have to make your way through these entry ranks. I encourage all APP to ACO members to respond to the Envoy emails and communications, their here to help you better understand what you need to know to serve within the Dark Brotherhood and Clan Plagueis.
A reminder to all members that qualify to be a Master, the Clan Envoy is seeking you out to take on one of the many pre-DJK members who now qualify to become a Student. The Clan Envoy is contacting all Masters who do not yet taken on a Student. There are great rewards to being a Master, beyond the normal awards, there is also the satisfaction of having helped guide and groom a future leader and Dark Knight. If you are eligible to be a Master, contact DJK Orzon immediately and he'll help you with deciding who to select as your Student. Don't wait another day, a Student needs YOU!!!
A little reminder about the "Topic" in our #Plagueis IRC channel. Standard policy is that only Summit level members, including Envoys, are allowed to post/modify the Clans channel topics. However, this isn't a strictly adhered policy since we allow all members to have Ops access within the channel. The Consul and I ask that people refrain from changing the topic too often since there is always some important news and information posted there that we need to get out to everyone. If you would like to post something, but are uncertain if it should be posted or not, just ask any Summit member in the channel if its OK, 99.9% of the time there probably won't be a problem. However, if you notice someone who isn't a member of this Clan messing with the topic, notify the CON and PCON immediately, we'll put a stop to that personally. :P
Some revisions are being made to many of our Clan guides, most noteably to the Clan Promtions Guide for Pre-DJK ranked members. The Clan Summit, along with the Elders and various other senior members of the Clan have been weighing in for the past week on what should be updated or changed to enhance our already well established guidelines. The end results are looking very promising, and we'll have more information on the changes as they are completed and uploaded to the Clan website.
Speaking of the Clan website. Kudos to SW BubbaX who has made major headway already as our new Webmaster! Some major changes have already taken place, and I won't waste your time repeating what the Consul has already said on this. But keep checking the site regularly, there are some great changes coming! Also, I've been tasked with helping on the graphics and image front on the website, but those of you with unique talents shouldn't be too surprised if I come recruiting you to help create some new flashy stuff to help further enhance our website! As always, rewards will be abundant to those that commit their time and energy to helping improve our Clan. ;)
The clock is running out on this month's Shadow Academy and ACC Monthly Competitions. But remember, the stats are stripped and everyone starts anew at the start of next month! In the meantime its not too late to get in those last minute course exams and ACC matches.
Applications for a new editor for the Plagueis Chronicle are currently being accepted. In the meantime go ahead and prepare your submissions for the next exciting edition. We're going to make sure that the Plagueis Chronicle gets back to its roots and foundation of fun for all of our members. :)
