As promised...oh wait, I did not promise anyone I’d do this tonight :P This is an in character report starting now…

From the Desk of the Headmaster…

Recently, many students have come to me, wondering why there has been a lot of scaffolding, sheets, and power tools strewn about the halls of the Shadow Academy. Furthermore, the loud noises of construction tools have disrupted some students in class or in the library. I apologize for the inconvenience, but the Shadow Academy is currently undergoing repairs and renovations and these must be taken care of as quickly as possible. The longer we delay, the longer the disruptions of class and studying will continue, not to mention raising the costs. I have been assured by the architects and their builders that the repairs and renovations are on schedule. When they are done, you’ll hardly recognize the old Shadow Academy, but I think you’ll like the new look.

Recently, I have had several new courses proposed. I am glad to see that there are members of the Brotherhood who seek to share their knowledge with others. It makes us stronger as an organization, as an educated membership is beneficial. I would like to make a few things clear, though, in response to these course proposals. No new courses will officially be added to the course offerings until after the renovations are completed. We currently do not have the space for these courses, but we should soon. Next, the role of the Shadow Academy is to provide the basic information on most subjects. Your clans, houses, and personal masters will focus on teaching you the more advanced lessons. I do encourage all members of the Brotherhood with ideas for courses to contact me directly, and I will respond as quickly as possible.

Regarding the feud, I do want to encourage all members to participate. Your clans do need your efforts to obtain victory.

I would like to take a brief moment to remind those that are submitting personal histories to observe the guidelines. The guidelines may be easily accessed from the Shadow Academy’s information page, accessible from any public or private terminal connected to the Brotherhood holonet. While we appreciate the need and the desire of some to keep parts of their past hidden, we would like to have a better knowledge of who our members are if they are going to submit personal histories to the database.
