Hey everyone
Ok late report, my bad. Had a pretty full 10 days, a practical exam that was evacuated after some douche bag mixed some chemicals he shouldn't causing a big bang and had three hard microbiology papers. So if your microscopic and deadly stay away from the CON dude ;P
Clan newsage. The feud has, at least temporarily, come to a halt with the planned third week not coming along. However from the current scores that I can see the Clan acquitted itself well and you've done myself, and the other summits be they House level or Clan proud. Rewards will be in the post after we get the official scores ;)
For those of you in the know you'll be aware that the KCB and the Headmaster run things called Envoy challenges every now and again. In the most recent event Tarentum claimed third out of all the Clans and bagged herself two escort shuttles. So congrats go out to Zero, Windos, Sephiroth and Frosty the Envoy team for Clan Tarentum.
Seeing as we're in a bit of a lull period and to keep to my quota of mentioning the Master/Apprentice program in a way shape or form every two reports I'd like to remind everyone over the rank of DJK should they wish to become a Master to drop me a line and more importantly for those under the rank of DJK who wish to be allocated a Master to aid them through some of their time in this Club. Also should anyone wish to view a list of the current pairings for any random reason drop me an email and I'll send you a copy.
I would like everyone currently involved with the project be they apprentice or master to get in touch with me so I can have an update. See if you are still with the same Master or as can quite possibly happen a member was taken on by a master without informing me. This is just so I can have an accurate image of how things are going and to try and improve the system. Whilst other Clans may have a set guidelines of what they expect Masters to do with their apprentices here at Tarentum we follow a more "relaxed" approach. It's up to the Master how they want to proceed with matters and therefore practises may vary such as acceptance tests or whatnot.
Having a Master guide you is one way of getting involved and knowing what's happening in the Clan. Another way is to hop onto our Clan IRC channel and talk to people there. It's fun, free and relatively clean fun (cough) a IRC applet can be found on the DB site at this link :
http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/irc_guide.asp#webirc
Also, new email group things. Sign up lest you miss emails! Out of nearly a hundred of you guys only 55 have signed up for the new account list thing. That means half of you aren't possibly getting all the emails.
And cause I'm rambling and incoherent I'm going to bring this report to a close. Good work to all who did stuff and thanks again.
Have a great week.
Welsh
