Report #6 - May 24, 2006**

Greetings all,

CON Report time, it's been awhile. Lots here, including Feud results and reward! Make sure you read it all. I had this ready Monday night, but the MAA didn't put through my medals/promotions yet. Had to work all day Tuesday, so this is late, but better than never.

~~~ Clan Happenings ~~~

1) The Feud with Arcona ended on the 8th. After about a week of grading it was official, we won 8 out of 11 events, meaning we won the Feud!

Overall, we had 29 members participating, many in at least half or more of the events. We walked away with 21 Novas and Crescents. Winning the event gave us as a Clan a wonderful new Capital Ship to add to our Feud, the Nebulon-B2 Modified Frigate Suppressor. For more information on the new Capital Ship, check out this link.

The entire Summit is in awe at the outstanding work done by some many of you. Everyone that participated did a great job; we appreciated it and your devotion to Taldryan. There Novas, Crescents, and Clusters have already been handed out last week. The awards for your participation and loyalty to Taldryan are listed later on in this report. Got to keep reading it, heh. I'd personally like to thank everyone thought for all their work, I'm glad I can lead such an amazing group of people.

2) DJK Kraval came back around right before the Feud was set to begin. During the Feud he has done just outright amazing work, truly shinning as bright as always. KP Werdna stepped down from the AED position in House Dinaari awhile ago, Kraval has risen to that position now. As always, big thanks to Werdna for all the work done in the last 3+ months as AED, you and Pyralis turned Dinaari's Envoy system upside down and made something more unique and beneficial for Dinaari and Taldryan. Glad to have you say with us as a normal member. Good luck to Kraval, happy to see you back on the Summit.

3) I've started up several new topics on the Tal Fictional Development Group forum for all those interested to get involved in developing. They cover everything from Clan Powers, Taldryan History, and continuing the Military project. If someone had some suggestions of topics, just shoot me an email. The forum is password protected, as it's only for us to use and no one else to see. If you need that password, just email me back and I'll send you that. Don't need the pass going out over the list.

4) As I've said before, but will do now, I'm going to be sending out more random emails than reports. One thing I wanted to also point out to everyone is that you can see what all your leaders have done and plan to do by just going to the Taldryan website. If you look under the Consul's Office, you will see Summit Plans linked. There you will find a Plans page for everyone from the Consul down to the House Envoys. I'm going to be pushing the leaders to use these, so check those to keep updated if you'd like to. Just a nice feature to have, it really will help us leaders keep up with things. Some times we won't email you with every single thing we do, but hopefully most things we do will be listed there. I've been using it for a month or so now, everyone else was just added recently.

5) House AWOL Checks return in the next few days. We need to clean out the Houses before the GJW hits, so look out for that from your House Summit soon.

6) Competitions! Yes, we have a few, two that start tomorrow and Wednesday. One is pure Taldryan and the other is just fun writing. There is a DB-wide gaming event going on as well. All this a bit farther down.

~~~ Brotherhood Happenings ~~~

1) The next Great Jedi War is coming! The scheduled date for it is Wednesday, June 14th. It will run for around 10 weeks, including many different events. Now for those that aren't familiar with a GJW, it's a huge competition where all the Clans compete against one another for larger prizes, possessions, and of course to beat the hell out of the other Clans and win the GJW. During that time we will run no other competitions, it will just be the events that are running for the GJW. So get ready.

We have some competitions going over the next two weeks, but after that we head into the GJW. I really hope most of you get involved. The recent Clan Feud was more limited with just us and Clan Arcona, plus it was just smaller. This is huge. I expect to see at least twice as many people involved throughout the entire GJW. There will be all kinds of awards and promotions handed out for this, more so that any other time in the year, so if you want something you better shine for Taldryan by getting out there on the front lines with us. All your House leaders, the Proconsul, and I will all be doing everything along side you so we'll keep you up-to-date on everything. Details aren't really that known yet about the War, so as the time comes closer, you will hear more from me on that. Just enjoy the next two weeks, play what you want, have some fun with us, and be ready for tons of activity!

2) The old JA Server, the Shadow Academy hosted by Spears isn't operational any more. Now we have two new JA servers, one is hosted by the HRLD Muz and the other I host. Here is a bit of information for those JA players out there, time to update those favorites.

The Kr'Tal Server is of course mine, that' the name of the Taldryan system. The only difference between the servers is Antei has the "Academy" JA+ level with bots. Kr'Tal supports JA+ too if you have that, but no more than the normal JA maps and no bots. Use them, enjoy them. Get the Tal system name out there! =P

~~~ Competitions Everywhere! ~~~

1) First let me point you to a DB-wide gaming event, its being call the Pre-GJW Warmup Tournament and is being hosted by the Gaming Tribune. Basically for the next two weeks you can get on IRC and go in #DBGaming to play members from any other Clan anytime you want. During specific days, there are specials for certain games, but all normal DB supported games are open for the following two weeks. There are some nice awards up for grabs, both to members and Clans. So if you are interested in any gaming, that's open to you. I'm not going to really "push" this on folks as we just had a good Feud and a GJW coming up within three weeks or so. 2) Two new Clan-only competitions here. The first is called "Find the Kir" and it actually started yesterday, I'll email information out for that separately. That's just a good, fun writing competition for those that want something like that to do. It's a pretty open topic, but can be either serious or down right funny. The other competition is "Super Tal Trivia" and that starts today. Basically, that's two weeks of random trivia sessions both on IRC and in email, 6 total sessions. That should be really fun, I know so many enjoy those, especially the wacky IRC ones. Hehe. I'll send out more about these. Yep, that's a report; man is that hard to do sometimes. Haha. Just repeating myself here, but I really do appreciate all the hard work everyone has done recently, it's touched me. Now that the Feud is over, back to some relaxing with some nice fun competitions to that big Great Jedi War gets here. I've talked a lot about it, but I don't know much about it really. I'm not too terribly worried. We are Taldryan, I have confidence that when the time comes, we will rise and overcome. I'm ready, are you?

Oh, and playing Jedi Outcast Capture the Flag with your fellow Taldryanites is simple beautiful. Sharad and others have kept dragging me into CTF recently, it's great to have them happening again, I hope more of you come on IRC and play with us. Of course, it's CTF, we are Taldryan, and it simply pwnz.
