Greetings all,

~~~ Great Jedi War ~~~

The Great Jedi War is here! I've been busy the last few days, but glad to see the responses to Pyralis's email regarding the GJW. It's time for everyone to unite and fight for Taldryan and show the other Clans that we are still the best. We need to show that we are truly a Brotherhood within a Brotherhood as is our motto.

I forwarded down Kaiann's email to everyone, that has some very important fictional information we need plus the pass to our GJW message board to use. If you haven't checked out the GJW website with the plot, rules, and first events, go do that now and check that email from Kaiann.

So we are starting with a Poetry event and opening the Run-on that will run for the entire 10 weeks of the GJW. Remember that you can submit multiple times for something like Poetry, BUT ONLY your last submission counts for the event scoring. Also, remember that all submitting for the GJW is done under the Administration section once you log into the DJB website.

I will start our Clan Run-on by tomorrow night. Remember that participation in this and all the events that happen is key to victory for us. We need everyone to submit in whatever they can, and do the better quality submissions the better points you get. Still everything matters so don't feel you can't help is in anything that you usually aren't good at. I'm not great in Poetry but I'm going to do my best there.

There are many, many other events that aren't listed yet on the GJW website. The Poetry and Run-on are a go, some gaming events start Sunday, then more next Wednesday I assume. There will be plenty to do you just can't see everything yet.

Promotions and awards are easy to earn for GJW participation so keep that in mind as well. The normal House Promotional Guides are still there and can be followed, but GJW participation can supersede those Guides. So I'm basically saying the GJW will be heavily awarded.

Once the Run-on is a good, I'll email everyone. Once the new events for this weekend show up, I'll email everyone. You can always check the GJW and DJB websites also to keep up-to-date on all GJW and DJB happenings.

~~~ Clan Happenings ~~~

1) The AWOL Check brought our numbers from 112 down to just 66 members. That's a good reduction and hopefully we can see most everyone still here involved in the GJW. I'm happy to hear from so many of our younger members over the past few weeks, hope to hear and see from you much more over the months that follow.

2) Super Tal Trivia happened and is now over. We didn't have all six events, but we managed to have four of them. Here are the results of that. 5th level Crescents and LSs for the top winners have been awarded already. Congrats to everyone that placed, 13 people participated overall, I'm happy to see that.

3) The "Find the Kir" competition had no submissions, sad to see but I expected that with the GJW coming and everything else going on.

4) New Taldryan Order of Battle & Guardians of our Artifacts and Possessions have been added under the Possessions page of the Taldryan website. Check those out when you can. The Order of Battle came out of talks on the Taldryan FDG forum and will provide another nice fictional element for things happening in the Clan. The appointing of positions for the two Battlegroups is done by the QUA and AED leading said Battlegroup. You should hear from them about those.

5) Surrounding Systems information has been added to the System & Planet Info page on the Taldryan website. You can find the link to the Surrounding Systems information on the top of that page as "Sector Information." On this page you get information on other systems near Kr'Tal, information and links on other important Brotherhood systems, and information on the Brotherhood Network. Don't forget two very nice graphics of the galaxy and locations of all these places on there. There are still some "TBAs" on the page as to what Taldryan's status with these planets are. Those will be added soon. This is yet another nice, very beneficial element to use in any Fictional situations in the Clan or for Brotherhood things like the GJW that is upon us now.

GJW is the word of the summer now. You'll hear that all the time so get use to it. This was a rushed report as life has been so crazy this week for me and I needed to get something out to you guys. If you have any questions or anything at all you want help with, you can contact any of your House Summit members, PCON Benevolent, or myself. We are here for you, we will try and stay on top of all the crazy GJW happenings. We will be out there fighting right with you in the GJW, we all stand unite under that Taldryan name.
