Happy Father's Day to those of you that qualify that acknowledgement! I just finished eating an awesome roast beef dinner that my prepared. ;)

The Great Jedi War is now underway! If you haven't jumped into the action yet, there's no better time!!!

Now for the info that everyone has anxiously been awaiting. Why has the PCON been out of sight lately? Well, last week my boss went on vacation, and shortly after he left all hell broke loose at work. I've been covering some shifts due to the unexpected departure of a person on the evening side while also trying to help train someone else to take over that person on the evening side. In addition, there were the usual management headaches, plus a few people trying to take advantage of the department manager being gone and I had the privilege of taking care of those issues as well. I haven't had much time off at all, and the next four weeks aren't looking any brighter either. Looks like my first real break and time off will come around July 4th, so wish me luck. :P

New and ongoing competitions listed below, check them out! A word on competitions. Until the GJW ends, please do not start any more new competitions. Those that are already started will playout, but don't start any others until the GJW is over. Too much stuff can overwhelm even the most diehard Dark Jedi. :P

We've all seen the emails about Venquis lately, so I won't dwell any further on that. Due to these circumstances SBM Daniel Stephens had been appointed as the new QUA of House Satal Keto. It was a tough decision for the Consul and I to make, but with so many unknowns it seemed a safer bet to resolve the QUA matter and move forward. Congrats to DS on his new position! Venquis, this is by no means a slight against you. When your able to return to full duty we'll work out something to get you back on the command radar. ;)

A word about the current RO in the GJW. The main story is the primary focus, please refrain from going off on too many side stories, they tend to detract the Clans attention from the primary goals. The Consul informed me that there are a number of side stories that are starting to get out of hand. If your involved in, or created, one of these side stories, please refocus the story towards the main one as soon as possible.

There were apparently some BIG promotions this past week. Congrats to Sith Battlemaster Aabsdu Dupar al'Tor and Daniel Stephens, and Prelate Venquis! Also, a big congrats to the newly knighted DJK Ky Terrak! Just be careful where you stick that new lightsaber. ;)

Due to time constraints I am foregoing the usual announcements that exist below. Congrats and thanks to everyone who were active, received awards and were promoted during this past week. Sorry for not doing the full recognition trip, but my time is limited right now. :(

This competition is a Shadow Academy Race. It will be based on what

members can take the most Shadow Academy Courses over the course of the

rest of the month. Members will receive one point per course taken. Any

Shadow Academy Course with the Word "Leadership" in the Title will receive

an additional bonus point. Any course with the word "Conflict" will

receive an additional point as well.

Clan Plagueis is in desperate need of graphics. Members of the Clan may

create any "Clan" themed graphics to submit to this competition. Special

attention will be paid to graphics sporting the Clan Name, House Names, BT

Names, and the Jusadih System. In addition, any graphics designed to work

in our website scheme will also receive a tad more interest in grading.

Specifics:

Each month the Top 3 Clan members that obtain the most victories at the

ACC will be awarded a Crescent for their accomplishment. This will be an

evolving competition through the end of 2006, with Third Level Crescents

awarded monthly to the Top 3 Clan ACC Champions!

  1. Title: The DBrotherhood Code

Specifics:

This is to strengthen the Clans mental prowess for the upcoming GJW. I

will send out an email to the clan once a week for a month with a URL,

the catch is there will be letters and punctuation missing from the URL.

The clan members job is to figure out the URL and mail the completed line

to me. The first person to send me the correct URL first will get first,

second gets 2nd, ect.

  1. Title: Getting to know the Summits!

Specifics:

This is a competition for all of the Jedi Hunters and below of House Satal

Keto. A fairly easy competition, that requires no skill.

You are to contact a member of the House Summits, (Venquis, Daniel

Stephens, or Julius Caesar) by any means possible. You will be conducting

a private interview with them, asking the following things:

How did they venture into the Dark Jedi Brotherhood?

What has been their greatest feat in the Brotherhood.

When did they reach Knighthood?

What is their primary goal for the next few months within the house?

What do they expect from the members of House Satal Keto?

What major House level competitions are in the works?

Is there any way that you as a member of the house can help out?

When finished asking all of the questions, send the conversation through

email to me ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).

The Summits members should not have a problem answering the questions, and

if they do not get back to you within a certain amount of time, go to

another one.

Specifics:

The House Summit is looking for Exar Kun's most talented warrior, so we

have started this search to find that person. Over the course of the Great

Jedi War, I will keep track of how many Cluster of Fires everyone earns.

Come the end of August, the person who received the most overall CFs for

the entire duration of the war will be awarded a fourth level crescent.

Two more crescents will be handed out to the second and third place

finishers.

Also, there will probably be a delay in results since I'm sure CFs for the

whole war won't completely be handed out until a week or two after it

concludes. Due to this, I'm allowing this competition to run until the

third week of August, so you'll have some extra time to keep earning those

medals.
