Greetings members,
This is your Commander, Scyrone, with his first report. I dont have a lot to tell you other than I have some competitions and I want to say something about being active (and to let you now that I havent disappeared).
I told you before that I would not have competitions during the GJW. Well, I decided to change that (with some helpful influence from XarKahn) and have 2 competitions now, and 2 competitions later.
The first competition is a poem and the second one has to do with our motto. Dont worry about getting them in on time, because they only start on the 15th of this month and end on the 3rd of next month:

I want to say something about activity. I know we are just starting out and I dont expect you to be on here every single day, but what I do expect is to be on IRC at least a few times a week and on the message boards posting in different topics, and I also want to see at least one Shadow Academy Exam every month. Try to stay in contact with your fellow Battle-Team members and talk to them and find out their interests. Also, I expect every single one of you to enter these BT competitions and to stay active in the GJW. How do I stay active in the GJW? You post in the Run-On, you do as many competitions as you can, and if you do not like doing fiction, or you think you cannot do fiction, try it. I try if I know I cant do it, and sometimes I know I suck, but I get points for it. When I first went into the ACC, I couldnt fight at all. My post consisted of 1 or 2 lines. But I tried it and practiced it and now I love the ACC and am a thousand times better than before. Thats what will happen if you practice. And in order to practice you must stay active. Just remember your first goal in this Battle-Team is too have fun and do your best while having fun. So stay active, have fun, and enjoy the GJW and competitions.
Lastly, if you have any questions, feel free to email me or Smoke and ask away.
Many people dont know this but do you know how the Jedi always say May the force be with you? Well the Dark Jedi have a similar saying and it goes like this May the force serve you well. So I will leave this message saying:
May the force serve you well . . .
