~~~ Great Jedi War ~~~

The Great Jedi War is still going. We have completed 16 of 39 events as of now, another one ends today. This past Friday we saw eight event results released. Here are our results.

Unfortunately, we had no participation in the XWA, XvT, ALLEG, and IRC Debate events. Comparing the gaming above from the last round of MP events, we improved in our JA numbers while the JO numbers fail a good bit. As you can see also, we had little activity in the BF2 and Other Games events. Thankfully, we didnt hurt too much in the points after all this. Every Clan had at least one or two events that they had no participation or very low participation in. We are the only Clan to miss out on four events though. So its good that we still have a 1500 or so point lead, but we really need to pick our gaming numbers up, and in other events too. We lost about 500 points difference between us and 2nd place after the latest round of results. Here are the updated Clan totals, plus the current top 10 Individuals list for the GJW.

Nice to have several guys up in the top 10 there, great job so far to them and everyone that has helped us get this great lead. We arent out of this yet though, so let me review the events currently open.

Run-on: The Enemy Within

The Run-on is still going; we have a month left to finish it. DA Shadow Taldrya is sort of taking charge of the Run-on, he will be advancing the story when need be and just overall guide everyone in the right direction. Hopefully Shadow can send out an update on where we are in the Run-on tomorrow. If you want to get involved, check it out here. Nice work to everyone so far. Keep it up! The Antei Campaign (RPG) - creation phase

So far Alanna Taldrya is the only member of the Clan to submit to this event. This event ends late tonight so if you are interested in helping the Clan out here, make sure you get something in today as soon as you can. This event isnt for everyone, if you are into RPG stuff then you should have definitely have already checked this out and be working on something.

Into the fray (ACCLve!) and Espionage, part two (ACC)

Anyone into the ACCLive! you should check this event out. So far I think Menace is the only member involved here, if Im wrong please let me know. This is another event that may not see a whole lot of activity, just for those who enjoy the ACC and mainly the live aspect of it. This event ends on the 26th, this coming Wednesday.

The Espionage is a continuation of the first ACC event, so there are no new players in that. Good luck to the few that are playing for us in that.

The Truth is out there: Discovery and Opportunity

And here we have two fiction writing events that started on the 5th and end this coming Wednesday. Discovery is for our Journeyman to enter and Opportunity is for our Equites and Elders. So you can only enter one of these events, whichever one your rank falls in. Right now I have down just Ricco Vao and Illian Syn submitting to the Discovery event. I currently am the only one that has submitted to the Opportunity event. So I really, REALLY hope more of you are working on this. We need to do well in all the events possible, and these are two very important ones to do well in. Please take the next few days and get something turned in for Wednesday. Do your best, thats all I can ask for.

The Decision (Graphics)

Anyone who is good or at least decent with graphics should check out this event. The only thing here to note is that simple MS paint or stickman pictures wont be accepted. Right now we have submissions from Shadow Taldrya and Ricco Vao. If you are interested in this event, check here for more details. You still have more than a week to do something here; submissions are due by August 2nd.

For the Jac! (Battleplan)

This week we had a Battleplan event added to the list to enjoy. This is not a group event, this is an individual event so I hope we see many people check this out and submit something. You have two weeks to get this done so start planning and working it out when you can.

Later today there will be two new events open, Ill email the Clan about those later today. Overall, Im very happy we are doing so well in the GJW. We have a great lead, seen some wonderful work by around 40% of our members, around 60% of our ACO+ members. All we need to do now is keep it up, doing whatever events we can and getting all the points possible. Ive been jumping in mostly every event so far; plan to do it for the rest of the GJW. This is a group effort, the more we support one another and the Clan we help Taldryan score another great victory with this Great Jedi War. Keep up the hard work guys, its greatly appreciated.

~~~ Clan Happenings ~~~

In House Ektrosis, Jedi Hunter Ricco Vao was made House Assistant Envoy. He will be helping Alanna with all the new members joining the House. Congrats to Ricco, I know you will be of great help to our new guys. We have also seen the return recently of some older members, those being Dark Jedi Knight Malevolent Blade and Jedi Hunter Fet'ai'narun. Its good to have you guys back!
In House Dinaari, applications for a new Aedile are being accepted by current AED and soon to be QUA Kraval Novir. QUA freshjive taldrya will be stepping down from the position at the end of the month due to real life catching up with him. Im glad jive could return as QUA for the last four months. If you are interested in the position, email both Kraval and myself.

There have been a few new SA Courses put out recently. Marksmanship is up under the Obelisk part of the Order Exams at the Shadow Academy. Pre-Republic History is up under a new page called Lore History.
Clan Naga Sadow has seen a few major leadership positions change this week. Consul Korras has stepped down and Proconsul Manesh Sadow has moved up.
The Praetor to the Grand Master, Pyralis, has stepped down from the position due to real life taking a more active role for him. Pyralis will be remaining here with us in Taldryan though, thankfully. GM Jac has opened the P:GM position up for applications.

Still focusing almost everything on the Great Jedi War. All the events come to an end in just over a month from now, and then we are back to normal activity. You can expect an email from me in the next few days about the next Tal Times Volume planned to come out at the end of August. The Clan Taldryan Tallys will return in September for those remember those. Lastly, we will have much more House and Clan level competitions starting up in September right after the GJW is over.

There will be of course plenty of time to rest up after the GJW, so lets give it our all while it is still on. Everyone should know how important this is for us; we must keep up our recording of being undefeated here. Doing good in the GJW will help the Clan and we will reward you guys very well for all your efforts. Keep up the good work, and enjoy it. In the end, we are all here to have some fun right?
