Welcome to the Aedile Report.
We all know that OP Silent has been promoted to HSK Quaestor. Please take a minute to congratulate him as he was the top choice without hesitation by the Clan Summit and this is an important spot for him and us as well.
You'll notice the report format is slightly different. It will continue to evolve as time goes on. Nothing fancy, obviously, as I like to keep things simple.
Most importantly, we are currently seeking a new HSK Envoy/RM. I spoke of this in my last ENV/RM report, but want to mention it again here. If you would like this position, send Valerian Orzon, Silent, and myself an application. Some things we are looking for:

Specifically, we have to have someone willing to put forth some noticable effort in this position. A high level of contact with new members and existing Journeymen is expected in order to successfully allow our members to advance, have fun, and contribute.
You'll notice a section below entitled "Eye of the Aedile". This is something I'm continuing from Envoy reports, but as I now deal with all of us in HSK and not just the newer members, this acknowledgement will be harder to earn. It will come with a suitable medal that may depend on the level of activity I see _if _anyone is chosen. There may be weeks where none are selected, such as this week. I promise you though, appear on the Eye of the Aedile spot a few times and advancement will be in your future.
Also new is "The Way Ahead" section. I wanted to include a spot for news dedicated to what the Summits are working on. In this section I'll reveal some things we have planned for the near future and chronicle a bit of what I do.
The war. We currently sit in last place. I'm calling on all of us, the Summit included, to do what we can to raise the clan from this ignominious spot. I believe in leading by example. I have entered every writing competition they've put forth thus far. Silent feels the same way and has partaken in many, many gaming events. Please do your part when you can. Once this war is done, the bragging rights will last years, as will the memory of those clans that finished First or Last.

The Aedile sees all you do. To this end he will reward your service to the House and Clan. Catch his attention through your efforts and be rewarded. Fail him not. Be warned, the Eye is fickle and if none attract its gaze, none shall it see.

If you're wondering what's on the agenda for HSK after the war, this is where you can glean some information on that subject.
Silent and I plan to do some restructuring after the war regarding Battleteams and their meaning. I won't give out all the details as it's still a work in progress, but when it is done, being a part of a Battleteam will actually mean something for the member as well as the House. You will want to be on one, though everyone may not be able to. Spots on teams will be limited and they will be earned. Bear in mind though, with great sacrafices, come great rewards.

The QUA has issued an AWOL check in the form of participation in the GJW. If the War ends and there has been no evidence of participation on your part in at least one facet, you will be removed from the House. There's no reason we can't all at least get in on one or two things with so many events now open.
