Greetings Acclivis Draco,

As many of you have watched over the past month, the Leadership in House Acclivis Draco (HAD) has changed. First, allow me to thank my predecessor, Krath Archpriest Mune Metsukai, for his efforts to stabilize and maintain this House. Additionally, I would like to take this time to mention the good work Laurus completed as an Aedile. Congrats to both of you, I wish you many good things in the future!

Now, we begin the report... HERE WE GO!

New House Leadership

Dakari & Brujah have found their new House Leaders. The Master At Arms placed myself, Krath Archpriest Braecen Kunar, as Quaestor. Our very own, Dark Jedi Knight Rasilvenaira StormRaven, was placed in the position of Aedile; beginning her training for eventual Quaestorship. Krath Priest RevengeX Palpatine will remain as the Rollmaster and Companion Class Envoy (House Envoy).

Functionality

This is a theme I hope everyone relates to positively, as it will be our motto in the coming months. My goal, and the one I hope to teach my Aedile is that the Dark Jedi Brotherhood (DJB) should be treated like a game of Chess. It is important that leaders and veteran members are treating each move as progressive and functional; that it will advance the cause of the House, which perpetuates the cause of the Clan. And, most importantly, that it is their duty to look several steps ahead and ease the path for others.

Here & Now

The immediate task at hand is the continuation of our superb Great Jedi War Six effort. Currently the Clan stands at Third Place; however, this ranking is in jeopardy if we do not contribute to the Run-On. We risk dropping 900 points behind our competitors if we do poorly in this event. Not sure where to pick up or jump in? Ask Arania, as she is our most veteran of writers and members it will be our former Krath High Priestess that makes executive decisions.

The Future

Effectively immediately, all Battle Teams will be closed in HAD. This is strictly due to having no current Battle Team Leaders, nothing else. Soon, not yet, Battle Team Leader positions will be opened to applications - Clan Wide - and those Leaders will begin working side by side with Rasilvernaira and I to create something unique and fresh in the functionality (there is that word again!) of how they interact with the House.

IRC, Activity & More

IRC - Firstly, I would like the members of this House to join us on IRC (http://www.mIRC.com). We belong to the 'Undernet' server and can be found in the Clan Channel, '#Scholae'. So come join us for a quick chat session - you will receive real time answers to real time questions. Additionally, you will get to meet the distinguished members of this Clan in a much more intimate nature than the standard e-mail and Message Board format.

Activity - Take me for my word, if you are active... you will be rewarded. I want to give you promotions, medals and all sorts of things. But, I cannot do that without your regular participation in events (think Great Jedi War). The more you do, the quicker you will be rewarded - however - remember that these awards are given, and should not be expected.

More - It has recently come to my attention that I am absolutely clueless to the traditions of both Scholae Palatinae and House Acclivis Draco. And to rectify this problem I am asking any of you Elder/Younger (whoever) to personally e-mail me ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) with the traditions you are familiar with and would like to see in place within this House. Also, if there are any additional traditions you would like to see come into fruition... now would be the time to suggest them. :-)

THE FIN

I am excited about our chances in the GJW, I am excited about what kind of functionality this House can begin to utilize... hell, I am excited to see how determined this House is to bring Battle Teams back to the forefront. But this road is arduous. It requires small steps before leaps and jumps - we will not get to where we want overnight.
