The GJW is nearing its end, thank Palpatine! Yeah, as a Clan we didn't do that well, at least if you go by the current standings. But to be honest, DJM Sarin and I couldn't be more happier with the activity and communication. We're the youngest and newest Clan in the DJB, and as such anyone outside of the Clan that criticizes our peformance isn't worth the air they expend making those criticisms. Next year, and hopefully the GJW will be better prepared, Clan Plagueis will arrive to kick ass, claim those awards, and shut the door to all the heretics that blaspheme us on a regular basis. :P
Before I go any further, I have an announcement to make. This announcement comes with a great deal of personal pride, since this individual was my first Student that I took on after we introduced the Clan Plagueis Master/Student program in all its glory a while back. Congratulations to DJK Julius 'Tolter' Caesar on his promotion and rise to Knighthood! Julius has been instrumental in helping guide many other lower ranking members, so I suspect that it won't be long before he joins the list of Masters within Clan Plagueis! Congratulations my former Student! :)
Just so they can't say I didn't say it, here we go. Anyone wishing to create a website, and wishes to possibly borrow or copy existing coding from a past or present website within the DJB, should contact the original designer(s) and/or creator(s) first for permission. Apparently this has become a problem recently. Also be sure to read over the info about the use of websites located in the Dark Side Covenant. There is apparently some hodge podge information there relating to these things that was never fully disclosed, again until recently. If you have any questions about any of this, feel free to contact the CON or I about it, we'll be happy to help guide you in the proper direction. ;)
I'd like to help the Clan Envoy with a message regarding our Masters and Students. If you know that a PRT-JH is paired with a Master, please refrain from interfering in matters that you are not involved with. Too many times in recent weeks there have instances of someone sending emails stating that they believe a Student is being ignored or overlooked for a promotion. In every case so far it has turned out that either the Student hadn't yet completed the necessary tasks for the promotion, of the Student hadn't responded to email inquiries, possibly due to being AWOL. I know the House Summit and veteran members are watching out for the younger members, but lets allow the Masters to handle things. If you have a serious concern, contact the Master first. If you don't know who the Master is, contact KP Orzon and he'll handle your query. Either he'll already know what is going on, since he does an outstanding job of keeping on top of things each week, or he'll find out from the Master.
The ICTE is back in action, so for all you MP players eager to go out and once again to slay members from other clubs for your own satisfaction and personal glory, the opportunity has returned!
Week 1 of the Plagueis Caption Contest - Part Deux, well to say the least was a marginal success. No more submissions than the past contest averaged per week. I gotta tell you folks, especially you Journeyman ranked members who are looking for that quick fix Crescent award, you can't find an easier competition to win that award your needing to meet your promotion requirements. So take a moment each week to participate. :)
The Dark Brotherhood Player Association is now in its final stages of development. If you wish to join the DBPA, submit a request to join their Google Group here, and to see what they are all about and also see their flashy new FLASH website, just go here! Much appreciation to SBL M.R. Mandalor, SBM Aabsdu di Plagia Dupar al'Tor and Acara Rayden (Sorry, couldn't find you on the rosters so I don't know your rank :P) for their hard work and efforts to provide the DJB with a new gaming forum! It's really looking great guys! :)

I'm guessing that between people returning to school, other real life intrusions, and simply people being burned out as a result of the GJW, the overall activity was slower this past week. That's fine, it happens, and no complaints from me. Just don't let things get you into a slump, they tend to be hard to get out of again once you let them suck you in. Next week, I hope to see our lists of awards and things back up to its customary lengths. ;)

Specifics:
Part II of the original Plagueis Caption Contest. Each week a new image
will be released to the Clan-at-large. Members will submit a caption
statement to represent the image. This competition will run until the end

Clan for their efforts in continuing their training at the Shadow Academy.

Plagueis Pronconsul will oversee the tracking and recording of all
completed courses each month, and will submit reward requests at the end
of each monthly period. Due to the late start date of this competition,
results will be back dated to 03/01/06 to ensure a full months record for
March.
- Title: [CP]Trivia '06
Specifics:
Every month, a list of twenty-five trivia questions will be released to
the clan. The first three to answer the most number of questions correctly
will be given fifth level crescents along with three, two, and one
point[s]. At the end of December, when the last three winners are chosen,
the three people with the overall most points will be given fourth level
crescents. This competition will run from August to December, and feature
a total of 125 questions and 18 crescents.
The questions range from Star Wars history, brotherhood history, and some
behind the scenes questions. Many of them, however, will require some
research to answer correctly. Due to this, I have provided a link that
should assist you in answering almost all of the questions.

- Title: [HEK]Warrior of the House
Specifics:
The House Summit is looking for Exar Kun's most talented warrior, so we
have started this search to find that person. Over the course of the Great
Jedi War, I will keep track of how many Cluster of Fires everyone earns.
Come the end of August, the person who received the most overall CFs for
the entire duration of the war will be awarded a fourth level crescent.
Two more crescents will be handed out to the second and third place
finishers.
Also, there will probably be a delay in results since I'm sure CFs for the
whole war won't completely be handed out until a week or two after it
concludes. Due to this, I'm allowing this competition to run until the
third week of August, so you'll have some extra time to keep earning those
medals.
