NEW ENVOY FOR HSK AND OTHER CHANGES

Please welcome Ky Terrak as the new HSK Rollmaster & Envoy. The Clan Summit, in a continuing effort to provide the best experience possible to the members, decided recently to make House Envoy a DJK+ position in order to ensure the Envoy is most adept at guiding new CP'ers through the maze of Journeyman ranks.

Consequently, our previous Envoy, Arcadian, has graciously stepped aside to allow this change to take place. Arcadian did well as an Envoy despite the challenges that the position can offer even more seasoned members. Please take a moment to thank Arcadian for stepping up to the plate when, at the time, few others were willing to take a swing.

MEMBER TRANSFERS

Recently I've seen a couple baffling requests for transfers out of this House and Clan. Members complained of not being "represented" nor "helped" in their time here. The peculiar thing is I never saw a thing come my way with issues they were having. Please know that if you are not enjoying your time here or feel you are being mistreated, or otherwise are just not having fun, you can contact Silent or myself at anytime on IRC or in an email. I'm willing to help anyone with anything even if it's something not exclusive to the club. I don't actually have a door, but if I did, it would be open to you all.

There are a host of new competitions flooding Clan Plagueis. There will be plenty of new things for you to do by simply checking them out and following their directions for some easy awards that could help you get promoted and move up in your career here.

Of particular note here is the "Protector of Plagueis" competition which sounds really interesting with great RP implications. I'd like to see a healthy turn out of HSKers for this event.

When submitting competitions, remember to put [CP] before the actual title so our members can easily identify them. Thanks!

The Aedile sees all you do. To this end he will reward your service to the House and Clan. Catch his attention through your efforts and be rewarded. Fail him not. Be warned, the Eye is fickle and if none attract its gaze, none shall it see.

No awardee this week. I see great participation, but remember, you need to really extend yourself in several ways in order to be recognized here. It could be several more weeks before someone earns the Third Recognition of the Eye.

Something on my shelf at home you all may find interesting is the Wizards of the Coast Dark Side Sourcebook. I don't do Pen & Paper RPGs, but this book has some great information and backstory on many aspects of our beloved Dark Side.

The entries are very competently penned and the art is fantastic. If you're in to collecting books it's actually a nicely bound volume and features superb cover art. It's served me well as a writer of Star Wars fan fiction. Check it out.
