This Week: DB Award Weapons Approved!!!</td>

<tr>
<td> Yes, it's true - the SB, AK, RS, ED, DS, SL and GLS can now be used in the
ACC!!! Well, they've always been allowed - but now there allowed with some stank
on'em :) They've been given the respect they deserve, apart from 'normal'
weapons, in the way of bonuses and penalties. Their ACC specifics can be found
under the databanks menu. Thanks to DJM Aristan Dantes (Sarin) for
kicking out the initial idea to us, to DGM Xanos for his quick approval
and GM Jac Cotelin for his honest scrutiny and final "go".</td>

<tr>
<td> Note: This is just one of a whole bunch of stuff that has been
'incorporated' into the ACC; you needn't stick to the same ol' same ol', there's
plenty of ways to spice up your battles. If you have ideas - don't hesitate to
come to us!!</td>

There are 11 signed up right now - let's make it a bunch more!!! Yes, you need to be [CL:1] or higher - but that shouldn't be an issue if you're keeping up on your Training/Qualification battle. Remember, you can 'enlighten' your trainer, via e-mail, of your intent to participate in an ACC comp, Clan comp, House comp - whatever - let them know it's time sensitive. That's not to say that they're going to speed things up just because you ask - but its in the asking, nicely, respectfully etc. that might see them do it. Okay, so once Kat takes the reigns of the ACCLive! event, we'll start pushing out the next Piloting Championship (PCHL). You might see the last ACE (Dark Sabre) floating around in there, making your life hell - all in good fun :) Following that, the next Championship Ladder (CHL) - which may also see the arrival of Muz and Vessicant; I don't envy the lot of you! To refresh a few memories; the CHL's are going to be run until we have 4 Champions - that will set the stage for the first ever, Supreme Championship Ladder (SCHL). Those 4 will battle down to 1 who will then face yours truly for the Supreme Champion title. <strike>When</strike> If I lose, I'll drop to Champion, yep - that's right - once you attain the CH title in the ACC, you'll never lose it (unless the next CM f*ks that all up :P) while you're still a member. The SCH title is the only one, from that point, that can be won or lost - and only Champions can fight for the Supreme Champion title. So, after the 4? After we get the first 4 Champions - the CH system will change. The present **idea* is this:
It will turn into a perpetual ladder that will 'always' be running. The initial field will be set, then its madness from there on out. To win a CH title, you will have to win 5 consecutive battles - at which point, you'll be granted the title then pulled from participation in the ladder. If you lose, your battle count for wins goes backward 2; i.e. if you have 3 wins and finally lose - you're then counted as having only 1 win. Don't worry, you'll never go below zero - so, it's more beneficial for you to suck early on in your tally than later :) Combatants will be allowed to signup at any time and just get thrown into the mix; you will not select your opponents, they will be chosen for you; if you remove yourself from participation - your win count goes to zero, but you can re-signup at any time. Timing out of any battles in this system will remove you from participation; drawing any battles will make you subject to the loss penalty, but not remove you from participation. Neither time outs or draws will add a win to anyone for the purpose of attaining the CH title; as usual, they will effect your 'actual' record as the case may be - but not the count for the CHL. In addition, should your opponent time out or draw, you will not be removed from participation. And that's what's muttering around right now...pretty cool... but we still have 2 more CHL's (in the current format) to go, and they're coming!!
Have a great weekend!
