NEW HSK ENVOY (AGAIN)
Welcome DJK Garik Burren returning from the nether-world of the DJB to join us as HSK's newest Envoy and Rollmaster. I look forward to working with him for some time to come.
EMAIL TROUBLES CONTINUE?
Of late there has been trouble with the automatic DJB emails usually generated by the mail server regarding SA courses, medals, etc. I've posted all the tracked information that I've received and that which falls to me to report on. If I missed something you did, email me and I'll add it in to the record.
Some things I'm getting, which is odd. So, either we're not up to much activity lately, or the email woes continue.
PLAGUEIS CHRONICLE NEEDS ARTICLES
Normally I don't like to ape news postings found elsewhere and items from emails we all receive, but the Chronicle needs your help. If you do things for fun here, then write a simple one page article on one of the suggested topics and send it in. If they don't use it, they can't blame you for trying to help. If you do things for rewards here (which I don't reccommend) then do the same as both Sarin and Aabs have promised ample reward for what is really very little effort.
I am no one to ask anything of you that I myself would not do first. So, I will contribute at least one article on one of the suggested topics on top of my already hectic schedule both in real life and here. Keep the awards as I don't care about them, I do what I do here for fun and the basic catharsis of creativity. I've found the more one participates, the more enjoyable the experience.
HSK SITE IMPROVING
If you haven't visited the HSK site in a while, stop by to check out some recent updates and additions. Both the Clan and House Summits, and the inimitable BubbaX, have been working dilligently to improve the site in order to bring it in line with CP and HEK's sites after some woeful neglect.

There are a host of new competitions flooding Clan Plagueis. There will be plenty of new things for you to do by simply checking them out and following their directions for some easy awards that could help you get promoted and move up in your career here.
Please check out some of these competitions of note:
You're crazy if you pass this one up. The winner actually gets to write up the planet Nintura. That goes on the CP site and is likely to remain the official description for years.
I entered this one myself earlier this month. I'm not that talented with graphics so someone should really enter this and show me how it's done. I know Sarin would love to see a fresh new banner for the site as would I.
This one sounds very intriguing and I have entered this as well. I look forward to some fun battles with you all.
This is now running with several ways to participate.
When submitting competitions, remember to put [CP] before the actual title so our members can easily identify them. Thanks!

The Aedile sees all you do. To this end he will reward your service to the House and Clan. Catch his attention through your efforts and be rewarded. Fail him not. Be warned, the Eye is fickle and if none attract its gaze, none shall it see.

SA courses are great, emoting in IRC all day about slapping people with fish is nice too, but I've not seen anyone truly step up to the challenge of this House honor recently. There are people making attempts. Do not fear, your work is being tracked. I have all the emails of offers of help, etc. and I appreciate them all. Continue this trend and it will be rewarded. But in that same breath, let not reward be your motivation. Let the joy of the effort of creation and interaction be your reasons for doing.

I suggest this week you visit the DJB Wiki and specifically, the great Clan Plagueis page there with a dearth of information. It's really well done and indicative of the quality of work we expect from not just our leadership, but our members as well.
If your forte isn't writing, but you'd like to add an article such as your character's history, just let me know and I'll be glad to get it OK'ed and help you with the writing!
