Greetings my brothers and sisters in Oriens Obscurum,

Seems this week is the hard one I ever experienced, added with such bad headache. However, it has been a bit settled and hope it is not going to be worse again

Great news ! Quaestor Venquis is appointed as the new Gaming Tribune! Wow! Congratulations! Drinks are on him. Anyway,Qua Venquis will be on short LoA this weekend, due to real life travel. Alex and I will stay to care the House. Well, have a nice weekend, Ven and see you soon.

Some survey feedbacks have been sent to us, thank you for your time and review. We do appreciate them. For you who havent sent it, check your inbox again, your Battle Team Leader has sent the HOO performance survey feedback form to you to fill in. You are the part of this House. Oriens is your house, so give it your suggestion and comments, if it is not satisfying you, then tell us. We will strive to build HOO as the nice home for you and for us.

The new format Oriens Obscurum Weekly, our competition news has been delivered. Check your inbox to know the latest news. There are so many competitions running this week, some of them will reach the end dates. Pay attention to the Competition Reminder Section, we have four competitions, two clan wide, Personal DB WIki, and Why I like Star Wars Essay, one House wide, the new HOO trivia, and the battle team wide, Bas-Tyra vs Soulfire. They will reach the end dates at 15h and 20ths, so check the details in OO Weekly. Participate to maintain your activity.

Speaking of activity, I wish that the experienced members will show first-rate quality of activity performance as the example for the young ones. You have such speciality, and we have provided more than enough types of competitions that cover any speciality. We have gaming events, writing sections, graphic sections, runon sections and many others. So, I hope you stay with such sign of activity even if it is only one per week along with your presence on IRC. I know you rock in such abilities. So, participate, folks!

Another reporting stuff, for the purpose of ATR, I'll release self assesment form for you, as cross check, soon. Just stay tuned to your inbox.

GENERAL NEWS

The MAA reemphasized the meaning of recruitment in DB with the guidelines of acquiring new members alacrity in this link to avoid mistakes. So check the alacrity for better understanding in the brotherhood policy.

ACC Live Tournament has reached round two. The bracket can be viewed here. Along with that, PCHL (Piloting Championship Ladder) has begun, 16 members have signed up. The signings up has been closed at the moment. The Ladder can be viewed here.

Several DB promos and new positions holders have occured. QUA Venquis as mentioned before, now is the Gaming Tribune. Wiki Tribune position created; Kaine Mandaala appointed. Maxamillan von Oberst (a general in the Clan Tarentum, necromancer) now becomes a DA. Braecen Kunar is now the Consul of Clan Scholae Palatinae. Congrats.

Muz has done much in DB graphics stuff, spent thousands hours so far, giving pretty cool robes, warbanners, logos and the most important thing is sabers. Thanks a lot, Muz, it's a great work!

Sith Core EP now is opened for application. Applicants will need to read this material

The last SIT results have been announced by Tribune Venquis, congrats to JScumm on placing the fourth. Good job! CFs were already reccommended by the Gaming Tribune office

Lucius has resigned from ICTE Tribune, and that position is still open for applications. Any applications go to GM Jac Cotelin and DGM Xanos Sadow. As a note from the GM : To have this position the applicant must be available every Saturday to host the event. The occasional sub is allowed, but the applicant needs to have a steady net connection and availability on Saturdays.
