How all you guys doing? All geared up for Christmas?

Well I’m back from Holiday, great time, loads of Sun, lots of drinking, all sorts of crazy games and far too much food. Great time had by all!

Had a scan through all the feud entries and the runon, some of you guys are doing great proud of you all. One of HLKs strengths is the wide variety of talent it has, it did us well in the Clan Feud, it served us in the GJW and it’s rocking the House Feud!

Following the House Feud I’m going to be coming up with some fun competitions to keep you amused during Christmas. Lets face it, there’s not much good on television but repeats/reruns, you’re bound to get sick of visiting and kissing relatives, and though you can spend the entire holiday period drunk I’d seriously recommend against it.

I’ll also be encouraging your Battleteam Leaders to do the same, as I’ve been looking at their rosters and they’re filling up nicely with good active members. As well as this, you don’t have to be in a leadership position to host a competition. If you think up a good idea that people are going to want to do, send the details to one of your leaders, your BTL if it’s a team comp, me if it’s a house comp or Manesh if it’s a clan comp, then once its approved you can submit it. In terms of showing us your activity and suitability for future leadership positions competition hosting is a big points scorer.

On a similar subject, despite the fact that the survey I did bombed (thanks to the four people who did send it back) I’m still interested in what you guys want to do. If you’re sat there thinking “Why are there never any whittling competitions to do?” then drop me an email saying “Hey Mal we want a whittling competition!” and I’ll try and sort you one out. At the end of the day I put these comps up for you guys to do, I can’t enter them myself so they may as well be ones you guys want to do. Incidentally if anyone wants to write a Dark Side Whittling course for the Shadow Academy I’m sure Anshar will be fascinated to read it :)

Unfortunately Xayun’s computer has gone down again (Honestly if he wanted a LoA he should have said so) , so in the time being if anyone has any new member enquiries myself of Sin will be happy to help drop us an email. As I’ve always said if you have a question, even if you think it’s silly, you can guarantee someone else has asked it so send it in.
