Disciples of Palpatine:

Another week has passed us by... I'm saddened by that... a week, or seven days (obviously) is a lot of time that we put into school, work, the DJB or whatever floats your boat. It [time] is our most valuable resource and a commodity we often do not realize we possess until it is either spent or just plain gone. However, rest assured, we did not waste our week in the Brotherhood. Instead, I would like to think the Clan flourished in the past week.

So without further adieu, let us rejoice in our successes!

New Members

Every time a new member (New Apprentice or Transfer In) joins our ranks it is worth celebration and applause. Because those individuals have decided to join The Family, Our Family... Clan Scholae Palatinae. These members will bring with them new ideas, blood and activity for the Clan as a whole - rejuvenating what is often lost or stripped from us. So rejoice in the joining of these new members!

Scholar of the Week

The Shadow Academy is a great tool and asset to further one's understanding of the Brotherhood, The Expanded Star Wars Universe and Leadership within the Brotherhood. In the early stages (APP, NOV, ACO) it can be a useful tool to explain the basic elements of the DJB. For the older members it is simply a way to expand their own, working knowledge base.

We had three individuals that braved the Academy upon Lyspair by completing one course this past week: Kalak Ragnos, Undi-Yata and Dark Revan. Doubling their contributions, by completing two courses was newly arrived... Sirius. However, the top honors are reserved for an individual that completed three shadow academy courses: Safe Computing, MSN Messenger and Krath Grammar Studies.

Notable Feats

Recently, one of our very own Jedi Hunters has merited advancement to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight - earning the privilege to construct and carry a lightsaber - let us, all together, rejoice for Dark Jedi Knight Tyno! Congrats Tyno, drinks on you!

House Feud

The House Feud is over! The final events and round of brackets must be completed; however, I will have a strong idea of the final standings by tonight and medals will be requested for the event placers in due time. All of this should be wrapped up soon, but no later than Thursday!

Recent Changes

It is with great remorse that I announce the resignation of Quaestor Impetus from House Caliburnus. Service of over ten (10) months as a House Leader is inspiring, dutiful and commendable. I can only hope that future commitments do not rob this valued and trusted member from our ranks completely!

With that said, I have given the reigns of House Caliburnus to Sith Warrior Thran Occasus. His first act was to request the services of his protege and friend, Sith Warrior Rasilvenaira - RevengeX Palpatine accepted her resignation from AED of HAD - and she will be moving immediately to begin work on the Ancient Sith House.

This now leaves us a hole in our leadership: the position of Acclivis Draco Aedile. I believe RevengeX will have more to say on the matter soon, but he will be accepting applications for the position!

THE FIN

It is a busy week with Summit shifts, a new KCE forthcoming, the conclusion of the House Feud and preparation for upcoming projects and fictional development within the Clan. However, I found it absolutely exhilarating that Clan Scholae Palatinae DOMINATED the Sunday Invitational Tournament yesterday... over 140 matches played by members of the Clan! Congrats to each of you whom participated!
