CNS Consul Report #22 - December 16th, 2006

Hi everybody,

I have this terribly sore throat right now. And, I just watched "A Bridge Too Far." Now, I usually enjoy the older WW2 movies, but this one was just boring. It doesn't help that the movie was about an operation that wasn't really successful. But meh. I have "Death Wish" and "The Manchurian Candidate" lined up. I don't know why I'm interested in this movies, but I am, so THERE!

Total CON Emails: 37

This week kinda started off slow. I know it was slow for me, but oh well.

  1. House Feud

By my estimates, the House Feud ends on Wednesday. We graded a couple of events, and that was nice, so there.

  1. Promotions

There were a whole slew of promotions. They were all at the lower levels, so I won't mention them, but it seems we have things in order.

  1. Medals

A Dark Cross was awarded to Schisca. Hooray!

An Anteian Cross was awarded to Horus. Yay! (By the way, I don't particularly like how they changed the Star of Antei's name, because Anteian has three vowels next to each other and that just nails me)

And finally, a Steel Cross was awarded to Maol Nor Lexu. Whoopee!

  1. Gaming

In last weekend's ICTE, I got 4 CFs, Corin got 2 CFs, and mmm Xhedias got 1 CF.

In last weekend's Sunday Tournament, Kinilus got 4 CFs, Valek Saurn got 1 CF, Corin got 1 CF, Ty'Real got 1 CF, and I got 1 CF. Look at these new members getting CFs. And yet I haven't gotten to play them myself. Oh well.

If you guys have been wondering, I need 33 CFs to reach my goal. I didn't participate in ICTE this weekend, so I'm not going to make any more progress. That means that I have 2 more weekends to reach my goal. Thankfully, the next couple of weekends are three day weekends, so hopefully I'll be able to reach my goal. We're coming down to the final stretch and I can't give up now, not when I'm sooo close.

I was also checking the statistics and I noticed that I have the 10th highest number of CFs in the club. Of course, Ylith, as always, is #7.

  1. Conclusion

They have a radio station in Maryland where the motto is "We play whatever we want." Well, they were playing Bon Jovi, and I was wondering whether or not I was smiling because the music was good or if it's because the music is funny. Hmm..
