Yes, I know this report comes late; however, it was pushed back by more important matters at hand... mainly, behind the awarding of Merit medals for the House Feud & the launch of the Merit Noble System. But, now that all of that has been completed, we can take a look back to review some pertinent information concerning the Clan and highlight some future, upcoming activities!

New Members

Every week an influx of new talent comes to our Clan... individuals that are either completely new to the Brotherhood or hold a measure of veteran status. Most often, these individuals are fresh to the Brotherhood (strait from Lyspair) and in need of our encouragement, mentorship and praise! So lets give them all a warm welcome as they come into the Clan...

Scholar of the Week

The Shadow Academy is a great tool and asset to further one's understanding of the Brotherhood, The Expanded Star Wars Universe and Leadership within the Brotherhood. In the early stages (APP, NOV, ACO) it can be a useful tool to explain the basic elements of the DJB. For the older members it is simply a way to expand their own, working knowledge base.

There were quite a few partakers of the Shadow Academy this week. Those braving the academy on Lyspair were numerous: Drak Omas, Impetus, Rector, Kalak Ragnos, Malaki, Exodius, Dark Revan & Morsus Slyme. We had two individuals stand strong by completing two courses this week, congrats to both of them: Undi-Yata & Nariah.

However, there can only be one! And our Scholar of the Week was our very own Zucus Dampner who completed three (3) courses: Photoshop, MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger. Congrats, Zucus!

IRC

Internet-Relay Chat (IRC) is the second (after e-mail) most accessible asset/tool within the Dark Brotherhood (DB). As a new member in the DB, IRC can provide you with real-time answers to real-time problems/questions. In fact, I was once a new member that spent countless hours on this chat service picking the minds of my Quaestor and Aedile for every facet of the Clan and DB.

Notable Feats

A host of medals were given out in honor of the House Feud! Countless Dark Crosses and Anteian Crosses now grace the active members of the Clan, but a slight few stood above their peers in awards. Rasilvenaira StormRaven, RevengeX Palpatine and Impetus each received a Steel Cross for exemplary participation and leadership during the event! And Archpriest Adam was elevated to the rank of Epis!

House Feud

The Feud is over! Both Houses fought valiantly and the end result was a stalemate within the Halls of CSP... but everyone came out ahead in the end through sheer dedication, activity and the shineys! And our House Merit System is up and running... Congrats to Viscounts RevengeX, Rasilvenaira and Impetus! Barons, or Baroness, to the rest of ya! :-p

Expect more news from you Summit as the year winds down... the story of the House Feud was set as precedent for an upcoming event that should prove challenging to each of you!

On the Horizon

Clan Leadership Meeting - The members of the Clan Leadership (CON to BTL, Envoys included) will be convening privately on Friday to discuss goals (short and long term), projects and each positions contributions to the Clan (Roles of the Summit.doc).

Clan Polls - Several polls will be opening up as we head into the New Year, they are designed to enhance the direction and effort of the Clan Summit in the creation of competitions.

THE FIN

It has been a busy 10 days for our Clan! We are going to use the remainder of the month to 'wind down' and prepare for the upcoming year and all that it will bring our Clan. I would suggest that everyone begin jotting down Character Histories notes and Character Development ideas... as those will be coming full-throttle in the upcoming months ;-)
