Happy New Year to all! I wish you the best of luck in keeping your resolutions. With 2006 and our bad habits of that year behind us, we look forward to the opportunities that 2007 will bring. As the tides of change have come rolling onto the shores of our House, I find myself looking into the year of 2007. While I can never guarantee my tenure for any period of time, I can say with certainty that I am responsible for ushering in the New Year. With many different changes occurring on the clan level, it is understandable how you could slip through the cracks and miss some things, as I am guilty of this.

To give you a semi-clear picture (not really) of where I am going, I will briefly explain my current plans. Firstly, The House is named for a legendary weapon. This weapon will be our identity, our mascot, if you will. The Run-on is bent on finding this weapon. Once the run-on has been completed, I, along with Aedile Rasilvenaira, will be compiling the known history of the House into the new house Website. I am a fanatic for deep and engaging fictional history for our group; as such we will be devoting some time to fleshing this history out. While all these plans are well and good, my ultimate goal for the house is to give you, the members, everything you would like to see. I hope to engage you all with the activities that you find interesting and fun. While I will be working the house along with the advancements of the clan, I also hope to individualize our House beyond that.

In the immediate future, you can expect to see the Run-on re-opened, complete with background information. Advancement of the Journeyman class and focus on the Shadow Academy is also in the near future. In addition, Member of the Month programs and copious reward for hard work remain at the forefront of my ambitions. I hope that you feel comfortable approaching me in email or via IRC to discuss your ideas, thoughts, and feelings about the shaping of the house, as well as my personal performance.

I would like to thank all the members of Caliburnus who have had patience with me. Progress is a difficult thing to achieve. There are still some remainders that I must fulfill before I can really bend the house around a solid plan. I am still tampering with some things, including the reporting style of the House. Keep at it House Caliburnus, you may whip me into shape yet!
