Greetings all,

Another CON Report within a week, crazy eh? Better to get in some kind of good pattern now while I can. Lots of news, happenings, and gaming since my last report. Check it all out below.

1) House Archanis - Getting Closer

The opening of the House is getting closer; we are still aiming for this weekend. Right now I have down 7 members ready to move into Archanis. We only need a handful more to actually be ready, I know some members of Ektrosis have been emailed and are just thinking it over. We'll probably move some apprentices around to even those out some. If you are interested in transferring over, let myself and your House leaders know.

Also, I did a bit of a reset on our Capital Ship Order of Battle and Guardians of our Artifacts lists. The Order of Battle still needs to be redone, thinking about what all to include, what positions need to be there, etc. For the moment though, they are at least separated some. Also, keep in mind once we hit the end of May we will probably have switched out a good bit of the fleet for an upgrade, all part of a Brotherhood Fleet-reset to come. We'll then have to fix things again.

2) Clan Awards Given Out!

Our webmaster Benevolent actually updated the Awards page days ago, but has mostly been unnoticed. We have awarded several members Clan Awards and even some Exclusive Awards that pass from person to person. These are Taldryan-only, our own personal way to honor those members that have stood out over a long period of time and deserve our thanks and gratitude.

3) Clan Competition: Tal - Wiki Character Comp

I started a competition for the Clan related to the DB Wiki days ago. Basically, all you need to do is create your profile, or fix up the one you have. The DB Wiki is going to be growing over time and will have tons of information related to the Brotherhood, so we might as well start using it for profiles with your histories, possessions, past positions, and so on. 4) Clan Competition: Taldryan Battle Royal

Are you an ACC player? Do you want to get in some combat with your fellow Clan mates? I have just the event for you. There is a new ACC Ladder just for Clan Taldryan, standard ACC rules apply, judged by ACC staff, and awarded 3rd level Crescents. The winner will the new reigning Taldryan ACC Champion! Of course that's a Clan title, not an official ACC one or Brotherhood one, but hey it's something to us! Signups are now open to the 13th. You can login to the ACC website and signup on the ladder page I believe. Matches will start next Monday. Enjoy!

5) Gaming Activity

I wanted to salute our gamers that did an outstanding job this past week in the Gaming Days and especially in the Inter-Club Training Event. Werdna came in first with 52 CFs and Michael in 3rd with 31 CFS. Several others played, and many in the Sunday Invitational Tournament as well. The results for that have yet to be released, but I'm sure we had some good playing in there. Awesome job guys, keep it up! You can see who won what by checking out the Awards section further in this report.

6) ACC Clan Trainers - The Future

Just to update you on something from the ACC. The CM came up with the idea of Clan Trainers back in September, but that was put on hold and has morphed some. As soon as coding and testing is finished, the training of new members in the ACC will be handled by Clan Trainers members of a specific Clan appointed by their Summit. Here is what I got from the Combat Master today when I emailed him about the positions...

"Clan trainers, within their own halls, will have the ability to do anything that the staff does. Create comps, create ladders, create halls, train, rate/judge (any way you want) fight...everything, except qualify. That in itself isn't a big deal unless folks want to play outside their clan, like in DB comps or the regular ACC. However, despite that, even ini's (unqualified folks) will be able to play in all of those facets mentioned within their clan hall - so, you'll be able to run all sorts of comps and they don't have to be qualified - it will be the shizznit for the Clans!!"

7) Tal Times, The Future Also

We are probably going to change this up a bit, we need an actual staff of people to join in regularly in these. If you know the Tal Times well and want to be part of them in the future, please shoot an email to myself and Benevolent. We want to make these better and better, we need you for that!

1) New DGM Report

DGM Sarin released a report yesterday, with some good information in it. This is the first real update with some limited "descriptions" of the Rite of Supremacy and the next Great Jedi War coming up, all in the next few months and completed before the first half of the year is over! Check the report out, and get ready for action, we'll need everyone for both!

2) DB Competition: New Elimination Ladders!

The Gaming Tribune has started a new competition; it's basically elimination ladders for several gaming platforms. You can signup now by emailing him and the matches will start on the 16th of this month. Awards are CFs and 2nd level Crescents, which could be 1st level if participation is high enough and everything goes well. I just signed myself up for the JO ladder, check it out and if you think you will have the time, sign up as well! Good practices before the major Brotherhood-wide events come in a couple months.

3) New Robes from the Hearld

Along with some new lightsabers recently, HRLD Muz has released some new robes selectable by logging into the Brotherhood website. These robes are for those that are members of the GMRG, ACC, or Society of Envoys. They look great, check them out below.

4) Major Release: Antei System

A long project to compile a document detailing the home system of the Brotherhood has been completed. DGM Sarin announced days ago the release of the Antei System document. It's big, it has a lot of information, and it should be helpful for those wanting to know more about the Brotherhood's fictional standing. It'll also help out in big events that involve writing about the system I'm sure. Check the link for all the infromation.

Two DB-wide events ended recently, hopefully they will be awarded quickly, those being "Cotelin, Jac Cotelin" and "GC and DC Upgrades." Tal Fragfest 2k7 is still going, counting some team matches from DB Gaming Nights over the past week, still no Tal CTF only matches reported or bryars action, get on those guys!! Ask around in #taldryan when you can. Had some Tal Trivia via IRC this week and there is a new Dinaari Bi-Weekly Caption picture up on the House forum.

I wanted to point out the Banner of Ice event is still going and so far only has one submission from our talented DJK Ricco Vao. Get those in if you can, you can just take the template for our war banners and make something interesting with it, or go out with your own design completely. After this we'll be moving on to another Possession I'm sure. As already mentioned in the report, the Wiki and ACC competitions are up and you should check those out. The Gaming Ladders start on the 16th so get those signups in to the Gaming Tribune Lucius by ASAP. House leaders should be getting at least one good event going in House soon, like within a week or so I'd say.

2) Gaming Days - TUE / THUR

The Gaming Tribune is trying different days for a month for the Gaming Days. This week it's Tuesday and Thursday. Next week it'll be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Don't forget about Inter-Club Training Events on Saturdays in #outerrim. All other gaming in #DBGaming on IRC.

3) Awards

I awarded for two sessions of Tal Trivia over the past week, both hosted by ENV Fire-Knight in #taldryan with a good hand full of people participating. Hel-Pa Sklib was promoted today to Dark Jedi Knight, big props to him for that. Great job on your trails and the work in your battle team! There are some merit-based awards waiting to be recommended, for activity over the past few months of the year, some Holiday awarding of sorts. Hopefully those will go out tomorrow. If there is something you should have been awarded for at any point, a competitions or anything, let me know about it and I'll do what I can.

I've had a busy week in real life and around here it seems. I think I'm about over being sick, a few more days will do it for sure, I just hope I don't catch something again. Seems like everyone around me is sick these days. =P

We have a bunch of things happening. We have Clan competitions, Brotherhood happenings, large conflicts coming up soon, and a House opening within a week. We should have the Kr'Tal system redone soon as well, plus new promotion guides for the entire Clan. Things are looking up!
