The Quaestor's datapad bleeped and Revenge picked it up and looked at the blaring message labeled "URGENT." Revenge wearily typed in his password and Braecen's ugly face appeared on the screen (just kidding Brae, we all know it's what's on the inside that counts :D): "Revenge, I want a report out by today! Why can't you be like those good Aediles who get their reports done on time? It makes us look bad." The Corellian brushed his hair back with a hand. "Get a report done and send it out. Stop dilly-dallying and get to work!" The transmission ended with a faint beep and the Archpriest yawned. Re-reading the same memo about hygiene for the millionth time just to make sure he understood, the Palpatine put it down and picked up a clean piece of paper off a stack. Revenge doodled a little bit on the sides; mostly pictures of books lining shelves and shelves in an endless library. 'I want a library like that for Acclivis Draco,' the Quaestor thought as he added some more detail and shading. Drawing a simple chandelier near the top, Revenge then remembered what he was supposed to be doing and horrible flashbacks of the face on his datapad popped into his head. The Krath put down his pen and put the piece of paper off to the side. He picked up a new piece of paper, smoothed it out on his desk and picked up his pen again. He began to write...

INTRODUCTION:

The first few months of this new year will bring many major competitions including a feud with Clan Arcona, the Rite of Supremacy and the Great Jedi War! To those who have never participated in such any vendetta, these are great ways to be recognized by your superiors! So when they swing around, participate in as many events as you can and remember to go for quality and quantity.

CLAN NEWS:

Congrats to everyone who participated in the complete and utter CSP domination of the Sunday Invitational Tournament ("SIT")! Now it's time to pwn the ICTE (I'll go do that after I take a break from gaming :P)! Braecen's asking around for help from the Equites (at least the rank of DJK), check his email concerning that for more information. If you're interested and wish to participate, send him a "pseudo-application." Applicants must not hold any full-time leadership position (e.g. Quaestor, Aedile, Rollmaster, Consul, Proconsul, etc.). There have been a few updates to the Clan site, more information can be found here: http://www.scholaepalatinae.darkjedibrotherhood.com/. The most prominent updates is the addition of several new animals to the Clan Menagerie and a link to the CSP Envoys site, which is up and running.

HOUSE NEWS:

I have sent out an email to the House which notifies people of three major upcoming events for our Clan! The Arcona - CSP feud, the Rite of Supremacy, and the Great Jedi War! These are great chances for individuals, as well as Houses and Clans, to show their worth and truly shine! :D So when they come around, let's have our guns already loaded and ready to fire steadily throughout the vendetta's duration. Remember that these will be successive with only short breaks between each! The Clan feud's estimated start date is at the end of January/beginning of February, so watch out for that! Our House Feud run-on has been compiled very kindly by me and has been sent to the House mailing list as a *.doc file. If you want it in any other format, feel free to ask me. :)

HOUSE DIRECTION:

Today I'm going to write about "development." Development is, through my eyes, progression and, inevitably, change that is done for the betterment of a unit. Whether it actually helps that unit is different. Everything I do, and hope to do, will hopefully be to develop this House into what it once was: a unified dominant force in the Brotherhood. Right now, I am attempting to fill in the holes of our House's fictional foundation so that future members can have the opportunity of viewing the House in its full glory through the written word. I intend to develop our House's fictional backing, something that is severely lacking, and I intend to create documents concerning the House to help future members and leaders.

One thing I'd like to get accomplished while I'm Quaestor of HAD is to begin recording our House's history, something we haven't done through the years. I believe that this will help restore our traditions and return us to our roots, thus unifying both new, old and in-between members (I'll call you all "tweenies" :P). I'm willing to consider any changes that members have (I'm doing all of this for you all) and I am open-minded and willing to change anything I create. But it's not just me who must develop our House - all of us must take part in helping to evolve our House (yes yes, I believe in natural selection, but am open-minded to other possibilities :P).

If you need a place to start, I can find a lot of beginnings for you. All you have to do is ask. :)

QUAESTOR'S CHALLENGE:

(Yay, new section in my reports! Every time I write a report, I'll have a challenge for you all (sometimes aimed at specific ranks). If you complete my challenge, I'll give you a dolphin, a panda, or a candy bar. It's randomized of course, so you'll never know which prize you'll get! :D With all jokes aside, these challenges are designed to get younger members familiar with the Brotherhood and spur older members back into the Brotherhood's numerous activities offered. Yay! :D)

Challenge #1: Forum Frenzy (Yay for alliteration!)

The Brotherhood's forums is another way members communicate with each other. I challenge everybody to register on the forums (if you haven't already) and get their post counts up! There's a whole lot of information on there from old run-ons to announcements from the Forum administrators. If there's enough interest, we may even have our own House (or possibly even Clan) run-on as a competition! Run-ons are mighty fun. :D Get in touch with the forums, and post meaningful posts (me no likey spammy posties :P)!

CONCLUSION:

All in all, we have a lot coming up and we need to make sure that we pwn Arcona and then obliterate the RoS so that we can have a better chance at the GJW. Of course, I'll be participating throughout all three vendettas (that's why I'm taking a short break from gaming ;)).
