Morroth Uprising

Again the RoS is coming up, and I’m sure we all want to place well in it. We are a solid clan, no doubts that, but we need to step it up in comp. participation. More importantly we need the gaming people to step it up in gaming; we need ACCers to step it up in the ACC and etc. I know we have people who are excellent in at least one of these arenas. So, all we need is to apply our skills and I’m positive we will do awesome in the RoS.

I’m seeing a lot of awesome activity from a few of you (i.e. Wuntila, nariah, Arias), and some others who are putting forth quite a bit effort (i.e. Quejo, Vexer, Moloch, Josalyn). I just want to take a moment to acknowledge those people. They’ve been awesome, but I know some of you in Satal Keto can step it up. Especially you in our BT. I’m sure your Vexer has told you about what it is to be in a BT, but let me refresh your memory. Being a member of a BT is not just something you can look at on your ID line it means you are a part of the team that is dedicated to remaining active. So I think you guys and gals in the Satal Victus need to even step it up further. This not an order, but a request that I feel you should adhere to.

I know some of you are in positions or situations where you can’t be as active as you could, and I understand that. For a while I missed a bunch of comps. because I was studying for my Mid-Terms, and I’m just in High School. Many of you are in college and are quite busy with school work. That’s fine, but I feel many of you are on IRC and think that if you hang around there long enough people will call you active. I’m sorry to inform you this isn’t the case. I know many of you can’t make the commitment to participate in comps or game a bit, but don’t expect to be considered active in my eyes.

I hope this doesn’t make me look like I’m insensitive to your situation, but this isn’t the truth either. I know what it’s like (or at least I think I do) to be overloaded with work or something like that. It’s tough, and I’ve seen it make many good members disappear. If you think I’m calling you a bad member then let me clarify: I will never think any of you are bad members. Although some I may view as inactive, but never bad. The Brotherhood is strictly for fun purposes in my opinion, and I say work before play. So if you sacrifice your job or grades just to be more active here you need to reset your priorities. The DB rules and all, but having an income or passing college is far more important in my view. Thank you.
