RevengeX paced his office as he wondered about the situation in the Subterrel Sector. The Sith faction was leading in the war against the Imperials and Rebels, but it was hard to tell if the streak of domination would continue. The Archpriest had confidence in his fellow Dark Jedi, but the other two groups had proven themselves to be worthy adversaries. 'I wonder when this war will end,' thought Revenge as he moved over to his desk and inspected the hard wooden surface to see if it had been cleaned by the cleaning droid. There was still a thin layer of dust. 'I should go get some new droids and sell the old ones before I destroy the old ones...' The Quaestor walked around to the other side of the desk and sat down in his large, comfortable swivel chair with numerous reports scattered around in front of him. The Palpatine picked one up, but quickly put it back down when he read the words, "Toilets are malfunctioning." 'The toilets are always screwing up nowadays...' Revenge picked up a blank piece of paper from a neat stack and picked up his pen. 'What to do first: write a Quaestor report or doodle and wait for the meeting? I suppose this report needs to be finished soon, so I'll do that... but it might be painful...' Shrugging off his worries and procrastination, the Krath began to write...

INTRODUCTION:

(Sorry for the delay on this report. I meant to get this out much earlier.)

Welcome to another "action-packed," extremely long edition of the Revvy Report. Today, we will be covering a variety of topics from the concluded Clan Feud to in-House developments. Stay tuned!

Wow... we already shot through another month... Is it just me or does time seem to be increasing its tempo?

As a heads-up, I won't be online much in the next few days (March 10th - 12th) because I'll be very busy in real life. I'll be able to check my email, but I probably won't be on IRC for too long. If you have anything urgent, please send an email. I may be able to get on on Sunday and beat people around for the ORW, but I give no guarantee.

CLAN NEWS:

The Clan Feud has ended. (View "Notes on the Clan Feud" for a glimpse at my view.) I congratulate and thank those of you who gave this a lot of effort. Tyno from House Caliburnus pwn'd everyone March 3rd/4th at the ORW3 and got a Crescent with Diamond Star! Yaaay Tyno! Thank you for representing CSP so well! Six Dark Jedi (including me) from CSP played this past ORW3 battle. Congrats on the medals and thank you for making this such an enjoyable event.

Selene, a former Quaestor of House Galeres of Arcona, is the new Knight Class Envoy. Congratulations!

HOUSE NEWS:

Rollmaster Ood Bnar Sythe'rae has resigned from the position and applications are now open! Here are the details that I sent out in a previous email:

Here are some guidelines Ood has provided:

  • At least the rank of Jedi Hunter

  • Has an email turnaround time of at most 24 hours

  • Has a very strong IRC presence

  • Is good to everyone

The new Rollmaster will be announced on March 13th or 14th. Ood will train the new Rollmaster until the new Rollmaster is comfortable in the position, if necessary (it's necessary if you haven't done Envoy work in the DJB before). Applications should be sent to Ood, Rhaub and I. Find the email addresses on the DJB site.

If you are interested in a leadership position and getting involved with the membership and administration, I encourage you to apply.

Other than that, it's been pretty quiet... besides the Order of the Dragon development!

ORDER OF THE DRAGON:

As you may have noticed, our sibling House Caliburnus has recently initiated the Order of the Serpent, the elite group of members of their House. To match, House Acclivis Draco will start the Order of the Dragon, the home of the elite members of HAD who show their dedication again and again.

HOUSE DIRECTION:

In this report, I'll be talking about leadership, communication and its importance. (Yes, I know I'm not the "greatest" person at communicating with others, but I'm working on it.)

What is leadership? In my opinion, it's positive influence and motivation towards a goal. You don't need a "fancy schmancy" title or whatever. As long as you have the desire and willpower to become a leader, as well as that positive influence and a goal, you are a leader.

What is my goal? My goal is to direct the House to become something more coherent, cohesive, and thus, indomitable. We must become a clear, organized society, and we must become a clear, organized, societal, family, and we must become a clear, organized, societal, indomitable family. As a family, we are a team.

How is that positive influence spread? Communication. Without communication between layers and planes of administration, the "leaders" will not be getting anything done. Communication is the most essential aspect of leadership. It is the bridge between and within the membership and leadership and without it, everything will just slowly deteriorate. There must be communication about nearly all of the developments, progress, projects, plans, and rewards. Also note that when and how you communicate can either bring up or bring down the entire House.

As a leader, I try to communicate effectively, efficiently, and smartly. This way, everyone who needs to be informed is informed and everyone who is informed is informed on time and with a clear message. Communication allows a flow and when everyone is in the loop and informed, it's all good.

But remember, I'm only a human. And as a human, I'm prone to make mistakes, so in the event that I do make a mistake, please tell me! (But don't get "aggressive" about it, please.)

Truthfully, from my perspective, we did not do as well as I thought we would have. Our performance in the House Feud was spectacular and perhaps we were all worn out from that. Or perhaps the events didn't appeal to many of our members. Despite the events or our exhaustion, we should have pushed ourselves. A select few amongst us did, and I am very grateful to them. They are the ones who I will rely upon. The rest of you need to get your butts in gear for the RoS and GJW so you can be on my "nice" list too! :)

(With the upcoming RoS and GJW, we need to focus on having fun and kicking a lot of @$$, despite the events. Kicking @$$ is fun.)

To those who didn't: prepare for the RoS and GJW so that we can have another chance at beating Arcona around!

QUAESTOR'S CHALLENGE:

Challenge #4a: Obliterate Other Clubs (ORW3)

If you have Star Wars computer games, go to #outerrim on the weekends to play members of other clubs! This is a great chance to prove yourself to other clubs, your superiors, and your gaming rivals. The ORW is loads of fun and this is a great opportunity at first level Crescents and tons of Clusters of Fire! As an extra incentive, special Seals will be made for participants! Go represent House Acclivis Draco, Clan Scholae Palatinae, and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood!

We need to destroy the ORW so that we can then proceed to destroy the other Clans in the RoS and GJW! :)

Don't worry about me, I'm doing my best to contribute to the DJB's domination. ;)

Challenge #4b: Prepare for War

If you don't have games and can't participate in the ORW3, don't worry! The Brotherhood-wide Rite of Supremacy ("RoS") will start on March 15th and end on March 31st. This is also a great chance to prove your worth to your superiors and other Clans of the DJB! I saw you guys go all-out in the House Feud... it's time to get crazy again!

The results of the RoS will affect the beginning of the GJW and thus it is imperative that we pwn in the RoS so that it will be easier to pwn in the GJW!

Dear Anonymous,

Since we're tight and all that, I'll excuse you on not including all the formalities. (You may not be so lucky next time, though!)

If you want to get involved, ask your House or Clan Summit member. We will listen and check if there's anything that you can do for us. If there is, we will (or at least I will) send more information to you to see if you want to do it. If there isn't, we will remember who you are and, if something opens up, we will contact you.

Getting involved can be tricky for a new member, but you need to remember that no harm is done in asking. Just make sure you don't ask "too" much. That gets annoying... very annoying.

If you are involved and do excellent work, you will get some nice bling added to your dossier. ;)
