Goings-on

Thanks to Kaz for giving me this link to the wiki page for this battleteam. This helps me out a bunch and you too. This means I don't have to dig up old website coding to recreate that and keep it going and it means you don't have to wait around for BT info. Sweetness. Anyways, go check out the wiki page cause its full of information and stuff the BT and I developed a few years ago. I'll probably just tinker with the history a bit to add what happened to the BT and such.

I am still going over some little rules I'm thinking about enforcing. Nothing too big but it'll be designed to weed out those of you who'd rather sit around like a lump instead of being active and then complaining that there's nothing to do and no way for you to gain rank. The rules will also cover my responsibilities and I'll get those all approved by Mune and Dranik before I go putting them into place. You all will probably see those in the next report or soon after depending on what my schedule is like.

I think the very first seminar type deal I'll be developing will be one dedicated to character development. I want these to be in-depth so I'm not rushing to put them together. If any of you have specific areas you'd like to see then just give me a yell. I'm pretty open to suggestions and ideas. I was thinking of making one for leadership but it doesn't seem like many want that so I'll hold off on it. Another one I had an idea for was to be on staying active and competitive but that's way down the road. I'll focus on the character development.

For those of you who have not yet answered the questions I put forth, please do that simple task. Big thanks to Kazarelth and Levathan for getting those answered, they were a big help. The rest of you still have until April 10th. I attached the questions to the email so please take the five minutes needed to answer them and simply send the answers to me.

Competitions

Not much going on really. This is the lull before the next Great Jedi War. If you followed the Right of Supremacy results Tarentum sucked rat butt. Yeah we didn't even get up to sucking monkey butt. I was rather disappointed in the participation and myself. For my defense, I was on vacation during more than half of the competition and I just could not get into it. Yet with the GJW coming up I'll be ready for some action. Will you? Everyone should do at least one thing because there is usually one event that's like really fun. Gaming can be pretty exciting even if you die all the time like me :) Hopefully the fiction events will be fun to write for and with luck there will be new things we could all hopefully get into.

Tarentum didn't do too well during the last GJW but the clan didn't do too bad either considering the quality of that last one. I am hopeful that our higher ups will show more enthusiasm than they did for the RoS and get us all pumped. I don't care if we win or place dead last, I am just hoping everyone has fun and participates. But if the Clan does place first or second we'll get a good reward, maybe another Victory Class Star Destroyer or even a regular Star Destroyer. That'd be awesome. I'm not familiar with the new Jedi order star ships or I'd probably drool over those shiny ships. Personal rewards are always good too (hint hint) :)

Alright enough ramblings about big competitions. Here's the DB competition page that holds info on all the other competitions going on. Just look for the ones that say Entire DJB and Clan Tarentum. If you have any questions or need help I am here for you. I'll also be getting around to making some easy competitions designed to help you all gain the medals needed for the Clan powers. Here's a look at those medals. I'd be at like level 10 or 11 if it weren't for those little trivia medals that are needed. So I'm going to make sure you guys aren't held back by such little medals and who knows, I might be able to put in a good word for you and get you a bigger, shinier medal.

Ramblings and Other Such Things

Well when it comes to these reports and stuff I like to be a little friendly and share the joys, pains, and strange things I experience. It's my way of making these boring reports a little less boring. I'm not going to write a half page on my life or even a quarter of a page. Just some experiences I feel like sharing.

Cool Game Death - Like I said above, I get killed in games. I've been playing God of War (first one) and dying about as much as I'm killing. Anyways, the level I'm on is called The Challenge of Hades and one section involved huge lava boulders rushing down an incline. To even get to this incline I had to jump over a fiery pit of lava. I'm also not good a jumping so I got sizzled more than a few times. But after getting across the pit I had to face the boulders. They smash you pretty good. Several more tries later and I finally got past that and took out my anger on some zombie archer guys. That involved grabbing them and tearing them apart. This game definitely deserves the Mature rating. It's fun though if only for the gore and huge Sword of Artemis you eventually get. I'm hoping for more cool weapons

Work Related Fun - I work for FedEx which is a shipping company like UPS and DHL. I'm responsible for ensuring the safe transport of dangerous goods like dry ice and explosives to international locations. It's a good job and comes with some perks. Like the cans of paint leaking fumes :) Now that I've made myself look like a junky I'll move on. Heh No really, I taped up the stoppers on the cans to keep the fumes from leaking more and I try to not breathe while I'm doing that. There were amusing things that happened this week like watching a guy fail to observe company rules and then get mad because he screwed up what he was doing. I think he might have broken some packages too in his bumblings. I just sat there and laughed at him. Mean isn't it?
