Second Clan. Second Clan? What does Second Clan denote? What does it entail to be the Second Clan? What prestige, or disgrace, does the honorary title of Second Clan bring with it?

Pride. Integrity. Hunger.

Have pride that you have all helped this Clan - Scholae Palatinae - establish itself as an Elite group within the Dark Brotherhood. Have the integrity to know that there is still much work to be done, that we cannot become absorbed in our success. Hunger for more, for greatness... desire to become legends, put forth the effort to be a champion... and you will be one.

I congratulate you all in your efforts. You have far surpassed my expectations and have made this Clan a glorious jewel unto the Dark Brotherhood.

With that said... we have one goal to prepare for and achieve: Dethrone Taldryan.

Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness

Congratulations. You were flat-out dominant. Each of you contributed with enough skill, heart and determination to see Scholae Palatinae entertain a chance at conquest of the Rites of Supremacy. Good work each of you, your efforts helped secure our domination of the Clans placing below us. I hope you can redouble your efforts in the Great Jedi War and help us in our ultimate task.

With all of that said, leaders are reviewing past activity, RoS activity and making promotions/medal requests in the next seven days. This, of course, is all pending the Master At Arms approval of our guidelines.

The Clan Senate

The Senate has been re-opened and I have hand picked the individuals that are on the Senate. It consists of the leaders of the Clan (CON, PCON, KCE, QUAs, AEDs & CCEs) and individuals that have taken the initiative to help the Clan grow through projects or mentorship. This group is not final, nor will it always remain the same; however, they will serve the first term and we will see how things go.

In addition, the Senators have voted Krath Epis, and Consul Emeritus, Karva Dronaal as their leader to direct discussion and moderate conversations. Congrats to Karva!

Clan Projects

Argh... I know that everyone wants to be 'assigned' a task. But the fact remains that my work isn't something I can wholly just 'assign' to someone. A lot of the tasks on my board are conceptual tasks, requiring me to pour over data for countless hours, doodle on my notepad, before I begin to punch it all in the DB Wiki for consumer (that is you) use.

So, if I do not have something... that doesn't mean I am the only one attempting to work on projects in the Clan. You can contact your Proconsul, Quaestors or Aediles for menial tasks or some of their larger, pet projects. However, don't expect them to hand over their master plans either... we are greedy, overworking leaders.

We are running a Clan AWOL (Absent With Out Leave). Each of you have been individually e-mailed with a request to reply to both the KCE & CON. Please take the time to do this minor task or you will risk being expelled from the Clan upon the completion of check-up in fourteen days.

THE FIN

We had a great Rites of Supremacy! Some very cool promotions went through, adding to our arsenal of Equite 4's in the Clan. Projects do not always have to be assigned, brainstorm ideas and bring them before the Consul... I don't bite and I'm inclined to let you work on your own projects (if they are good ideas). And the Senate is now open!
