Goings-on

Oh my, is it time for another report already? Well yes it sure is and here it is!

I’m waiting for Mune and Dranik to look over my final BT rules before I send that out to you all. It is mostly geared at you guys staying active because really that’s what you are here for. It has some rules for me to follow as well so don’t think I’m going to keep myself free and clear. I’ve also been looking at the various promotion guides the other Clans have up. The one for Tarentum is crap but not as restrictive as some I’ve looked at. I’m thinking of a different way to go about promotions that’ll make them fair for all. Give me some time, that’s all I ask.

No one else bothered to fill out the questions I sent and I’m really sad to see that. It is not a good start or a good showing of activity. To those of you who did not respond, you are only holding yourself back. I hope this isn’t a vision of things to come so turn around now and get active. I’ll have a little competition here in a day or so. I’m working on the Dark Voice right now so my time is really tight.

I’m still working on the first round of Character Development exploration. Again, the Dark Voice holds a lot of my time right now. However, Levathan gave me a great idea for a section and a competition to go along with that section. Yay for him! My goal is to get the first ‘chapter’ out before the end of the month. If I can’t hit that goal you can all play Shock-A-CON with my own likeness as the target.

Oh and a big yay Kazarelth Talîsmarr for placing second in the sane'B samranAg competition and nabbing a Crescent with Topaz Star. He also nabbed a Cluster of Fire for playing in one of the gaming nights. Sweet.

Competitions

It is still fairly quiet. There are competitions going on and hopefully a few more from my end of things soon. For now I have one pending. I highly encourage you all to keep up with the competitions that float around. There are some that come and go so fast that if you don’t watch you don’t get a chance to participate. Ramblings and Other Such Things

If I didn’t state it before, this weekend really sprang up on me. It’s been a busy week but things will get better soon enough. I hope you guys are enjoying your weekend and I hope you weren’t too busy last week. At least try to relax a little in the upcoming week. Enjoy an ice cream or a nice hot shower or anything else that makes you feel good. Hey you deserve it!

Cool Game Death – I did not even get time to play a single game this week. Hence the competition that’s out. You guys get to fill this in! See the competition details for, well, more details. However I will recall one gaming death from a while back. My husband and I use to play Battle Front II on our Xbox before the system decided to start locking up. When we would play as the Empire and board Leia’s ship we would hang back for a minute while the first waves went in. We learned from the first experience to hang back because the first thing both sides start to do is chuck grenades. There are bodies flying everywhere and almost non-stop explosions for about all of that minute. Then we go rushing in over the bodies of our fallen and chuck more grenades while more rebels started popping up. Well one time we didn’t time our run correctly and ended up being blown to bits by I think five grenades that were thrown as soon as we rounded a corner. Nothing beats being bounced between the ceiling and the floor.

Work Related Fun – 3 tons of stuff on Friday alone. Ouch… We have a forklift to help with the heavier stuff but this was all barrels of paint we had to handle piece by piece. The blue paint chips and the dried red paint that powdered everything did not help. On the funny side, a guy I work with had a brain fart and signed one of his manual time cards with his end time. So now we all call him 504. At least until he does something to top that.
