_A steady rain fell over the forests of Ptolomea as a group of journeymen searched through the trees and thick foliage. They were using the outing for training, searching for the Aedile who was waiting, somewhere. They began to spread out, each one straining their senses for some sign of the elusive Warrior.

Perched in the upper branches of a large Nrall tree, the Sith smirked as she watched the young journeymen flinching at odd noises like nervous whisperkits. Suppressing her force signature, she twisted and moved through the branches to another vantage point. Focusing on the closest one, a Protector, Rasilvenaira wrapped the tendrils of the force around a shrub next to him, shaking it roughly. Stifling a chuckle as the Protector jumped and poked at the shrub with his training saber, the Aedile turned and moved out of the tree.

She ignored the rain soaking her clothes, simply enjoying the chance to be out of her office for a change. However, the training hunt was wearing on to over two hours now, and she was aware of the growing discomfort of the journeymen. Slipping through the dense foliage, she skirted around the edge of the group. One Guardian caught sight of her, and the group began the chase.

By the time she led them back to the grassy fields just outside of the House complex and stopped; the group sank to the grass, most breathing hard. Rasilvenaira looked them over, chuckling.

“You all did rather well, but I expect to see you all in the Training Hall in an hour, go get dry and rest a bit, I’ll see you then.”

Groaning, they got to their feet, and hurried off to their quarters to find dry clothes. Rasilvenaira watched them go, then strolled leisurely to the Training Hall. _

The Rite of Supremacy is well behind us now, and the Great Jedi War is still on the distant horizon to come. For now, we have a brief lull for a well deserved rest. There has been some big news though, there were two members named as the newest Sons of Palpatine, SBL Vally Tamalar Darkstar Palpatine and DJM Nathaniel. Also, in celebration of the Exodus, Seals of Loyalty were awarded to Brujah, Tyno, Zeron, Lucius, and Braecen. DJM Dalthid was awarded the Silver Sash for his contributions to the Brotherhood, but has also chosen to step down as the Combat Master.

Closing Thoughts:

Lately I have seen the question asked, “What’s so good about CSP?” For me, the answer is very simple. Clan Scholae Palatinae is unique in that we are a family. That is, unquestionably the greatest strength of our Clan. We are a group of talented and unique individuals, but we also stand together as one united force. Every member is valued, and is equally important, whether you are a Dark Jedi Master, or the newest Apprentice. Once you are a part of CSP, you are part of a great family. No one is ever left behind, what makes us stronger is the fact that we help and support each other, coming together under a single banner. Caliburnus and Acclivis Draco are two halves of one whole, and with each challenge, each storm that comes our way, that whole grows stronger. Each day I find another reason to love this Clan, to stand proud that I am a part of something so wonderful. There are those who criticize or attempt to insult the Clan, but in my opinion, they do so because either they are jealous of what we have, or they just don’t understand what we are all about.
