Dark dudes and dudette!

Since taking over the RM position I am excited abut the amount of work I have to do. Although it's the one and only position I have never worked in before for the House I have been aware of the workload and tasks involved, but since the last time I had a command position the role itself has changed considerably from the bloke who kept the roster and email groups up to date! Tied in with the CCE job it's a chance to have an affect on the junior members of the House and guide them through their formative months is a huge responsibility and one that I will definitely not take lightly.

This week I have been working on a format that I can use to track the activities of all the members of the House for their courses that they pass, and tie that in with Braecen's promotion points system in a way that is easy to use and can be passed to the other RM and Selene to use as they see fit. This is a work in progress at the minute and I'm hoping to get it completed early next week. Once this is up and running tracking activity and promotionability (you can all use that word if you like) of individuals will be a lot easier and means that any time can be used for other items, such as spending more time getting in contact with those junior members who need a helping hand.

That said, here's the activity lists of those who have done what over the last week (or since I took over anyway!)

Roster

APP Demious joined the Clan and HAD

APP Andy joined the Clan and HAD

GRD Max Reem Mandalore left the Clan and went to HLK - what is worrying is that he stated that he felt lonely in HAD.

AWOL Checks

Selene chased up all the members of the House who had not yet replied to the AWOL check.

Medals / Awards

A Grand Cross of the Dark Side was awarded to DJM Nathaniel for his excellent work in the Clan, specifically the work he did on the RoS that saw the Clan coming in second.

KAP RevengeX received 3 No Pendant of Blood and 36 No Clusters of Fire (CF's) for Gaming over the past fortnight, and a Dark Side Scroll (DSS)

KP Siyavash Kaida also got a DSS, like RevengeX for Dark Voice contributions

KP Impetus got an LS for the Clan trivia

DJK Laurus won 10 CF's

DJK Ood Bnar Sythe'rae was awarded an Anteian Cross for his continued work on the Dark Voice

GRD Max Reem Mandalore got 3 CF's

GRD Kalak Ragnose got 4 CF's

PRT Xathia beat DJK Desdemonea in an ACC Battle

As well as the medals above, two other awards were given out. The highest Clan based award was passed on to two members when Vally Tamalar Darkstar and Nathaniel were inducted into the family of Palpatines, and KAP Impetus was named as the second Dark Paladin of Palpatine

PRT Malkorvik passed Marksmanship

KAP Impetus passed History of the Sith Empire

I still have a lot to do. A proper system for checking on the newer members and making sure I keep in enough contact with them has to be incorporated into the form that I am producing for medals. The fact that Max said that he felt lonely is very annoying and we must ensure that things like this don't happen again. I need to make sure that all the work I do and sort out is within Brae's guidelines and can be easily adapted to suit any changes.
