Goings-on

Hey hey everyone how's it going?! We have a new member with us, his name is Brimstone and he's been recently promoted to Protector. Welcome to the team man and I hope you have a fantastic time here.

I am almost done with Chapter 1 of my little character development project. Once I am satisfied with what I've written I'll get that out to you all and start working on the second chapter. I hope you all take part in the activities that will go along with this project. I also hope to get some feedback from you guys and gals.

Oh yeah, attached to the email are the BT rules Mune, Dranik, and I agreed upon. Have a look over them and if you have any concerns or problems with anything within please do email me. I am here to listen to you. The whole purpose of having these little rules is to keep this old leader under the whip and to keep the active people here. A BT is just no good with inactive people. These rules will kick in starting in May so there is a grace period to come to me with your thoughts and to figure out if you can be active or not.

A promotion guideline may follow. I've not liked anything that I've come up with so far. For now, be active and have fun. Let the leaders keep track of what you've been up to. The task for this week is to tell me which you like more, those shiny merit medals or promotions. I personally like those shiny medals over promotions but that's just me.

Speaking of medals. Kaz got a little Dark Side Scroll for the article he wrote for the Dark Voice. He didn't have a choice as I'm a slave driver of a Tribune, heh. I would have a few more DSS' myself but I don't put in medal requests for myself. Something about doing that just bugs me. Sun Vail also got a nice little DSS for her story.

I still just have the one running. No one has yet to submit something to it. Oh well, check out what's below and remember that there are some that come and go so fast that if you don’t watch you don’t get a chance to participate. The DV puzzles for example. Anyways, here’s the list:

Ramblings and Other Such Things

Hey you made it down this far, sweet. I hope you aren't too bored but if you are, go play a game! Outside, inside, it doesn't matter just have some fun.

Cool Game Death - Well since I didn't get anything I guess I once again get to fill this spot in the report. I was really busy this week but I did get some time to revisit an old game. I liked StarCraft and so I whipped that one out and started the campaigns again. You don't get any cool death scenes but I always thought it funny when opposing foes died together. Clicking the native animals until they explode is also rather humorous. They go up in a mushroom cloud. The best thing though is swarming an enemy base with the Zerg. I like overkill.

Work Related Fun - This week was a test of my patience. On one hand I had to deal with a guy that didn't want to do his job right and on the other hand I had to deal with a manager who doesn't want to do his job at all. Fun times all around. I think my manager knows he's going to loose his job so he's been trying to kiss as much senior management butt as possible by volunteering us to do the crap jobs that come up after everyone else in the work group except those of us who are there until 6:30 am. For whatever reason, these jobs seem to come up Saturday mornings right before we go to clock out. Needless to say, this week involved unloading a completely full 53 foot semi trailer and five hours of overtime. twitches On the plus side I got to see a United Airlines plane go off into the grass. It was being towed to a hanger and something broke, tow bar I think, and down into the grass it went. No one was on board and it didn't catch fire or anything but it was still kinda funny to see.
