**For everyone who continually asks me if they can help with anything, pay attention to this report. Important information is included. Oh, and I apologize for any poor formatting. I'm rushing to get this done because I have to go to a meeting very soon.<b>

<b>Test Highlight</b>

A new part of most of my reports, and probably DV articles, is what I’m calling the Test Highlight. In short, I’m going to pick a test and highlight- encourage you to take it. It should come as little surprise that this first highlight is for the Test of Endurance, which was recently updated to allow more games to be played. The Test of Endurance is great for members who have just joined, or may have just started gaming. Not only does the test have you get familiar with at least one platform game, it helps you understand how submitting game scores works, at least on the non-gaming night level. With more games now being accepted, you don’t have to rely on having the Jedi Knight series (JK, JO, and JA) to pass it. So, give it a try.

<b>Helping in the SA<b>

<p>Ok, before I go into what I need help with, I want to say a few words. I think that I speak for the rest of the Dark Council when I say we like seeing people want to be involved, but we don’t like it when people ask us repeatedly (in my case, just about every week, but sometimes every day or two, as happened with one person). Lots of people want to work for the Shadow Academy, but I’ve only got limited spots. Even if I limited one exam per EP, it doesn’t change the fact that spots are limited. When positions open, I announce it 99% of the time (there has been, in the past, rare instances where we sought out a particular person, but this is extremely rare. And, let’s keep in mind the following things: working for the SA is not a promotion factory, being an EP doesn’t really teach you anything about running a battleteam, house, or clan, and some of the tests are taken far less frequently than others. So, to wrap this up: my projects that need outside help, or my open positions, are going to be announced on the main page. If you come to me on IRC, e-mail, Gmail chat, or whatever, and ask, I’m going to simply tell you to read the news page. So, what is going on?

•Runon: The Shadow Academy has a run-on competition right now. Check out the SA competitions sub-forum on the message board. Participate.

•<b>_In the near future _</b>, there will be anywhere from one to three open EP positions, depending on a few things that aren’t settled yet. Don’t ask me about them now, just watch the main page.

•Trivia: If you want to host a trivia event, talk to me, and we can work something out. In fact, Kalak will be running IRC trivia next Saturday, not only because he asked, but I’m going to be busy as hell that day. Or, you can participate in trivia (more info below).

•I need some volunteers to help me test an Order Interest Survey, which we’re planning to link off the join page, which will help new members make a good choice (though they’ll still be permitted to request order changes). There’s no set number of people I need. Just e-mail me so I can write your name down. I’ll e-mail you when I’m done with the draft survey (I’m about halfway done right now).

•Finally, I want a character image for my wiki page. If you have ANY artistic skill, e-mail me. I don’t care if it is 3D computer work, or hand drawn and scanned into the computer. Serious submissions only. You can read my wiki article for character description.

That’s it for right now. Well, except the fact that you need to be active in your house and clan. That’s the best thing you can do for me, and for the Brotherhood on the whole.

<b>Trivia</b>

<p>There will be trivia events this weekend, one IRC (1:00 pm EDT in #shadowacademy) and the other starting Saturday evening and hosted off the message board. Message board trivia participation has started to drop off. If it doesn’t pick up, I will stop doing the events.</p>

<b>Test Changes</b>

<p>The test of agility changes, to bring it up to date, are almost done. The course notes should be updated soon. Also, the Advanced Test of Wisdom will be changing. In short, you’ll need to have passed the Test of Wisdom first, and your Advanced Test of Wisdom will need to build off of your test of wisdom. Yes, anyone who has already submitted or passed the Advanced Test of Wisdom is not subject to this rule. The notes should be updated this weekend, perhaps as early as this evening</p>

<b>Some real life notes</b>

<p>I know I don’t generally share real life stuff with you here, but I mention this stuff here because it will impact my work as HM. One week from tomorrow, I will be graduating from college. I have only one final exam on Monday, but I have to hang around for graduation, and to check my residents out of their rooms (since I’m an RA). I have a job interview Monday morning, and I’m trying to set up one with the company I’ve been working for several years. I’m not worried about getting a job; exactly how it affects my performance as HM remains to be seen. I have every intention of remaining Headmaster.</p>
