Been another nice week in the DB.

1. Attacking the Clones
   

We're ending round 2 of the "Attacking the Clones" competition. We had 3 fictions and 4 graphics in Round One, and the judges (myself included) will get to grading them. Don't forget the URLs:

Malisane will be keeping you up to date when the Round Two events are formally announced. So keep sharp for that stuff. Mind you, good participation in as many events as possible helps you get promoted if you're a journeyman.

1. Manesh's SA Challenge
   

Before the voting, I had already decided that for Week #41 (the one that just finished) I would take History of the Sith Empire I. I took it on Thursday and passed it with a perfect score! Booyeah! Noticed that Juventus also took same course. I encourage all members to take SA courses, because I like getting emails that SA courses have been completed. Now, admittedly some of the older members have taken most of the SA courses (as have I).

Now, for Week #42, the poll results were as follows. There was a tie between Leadership Fundamentals and Chamber of Justice, so I broke the tie myself.

Leadership Fundamentals - 6 votes

Chamber of Justice - 5 votes

History of the Sith Empire II - 2 votes

The rest got one vote. There were 18 votes total, undoubtedly a few from outside of the clan. That's okay. I will take Leadership Fundamentals this week. Whoever voted for Advanced Poetry is a sick human being :P

There were only 2 SA course passings this week. I mean, even a few months ago we'd have like, a dozen a week. Meh. Well, good work Juventus.

1. RoS Survey
   

Like I mentioned yesterday, the Rite of Supremacy survey deadline is today. If you want a copy of the survey, ask me for it. Good responses get Quartz Crescents. Seriously people, this is the easiest Quartz Crescent you'll ever get.

However, after today I will compile the responses, write a report, show it to the conclave, and then probably show it to the clan as a whole.

1. Promotions
   

Sledge was finally promoted to Dark Jedi Knight. Hooray!

Davin Olar, he who asks many questions, was promoted to Guardian. Yay!

Juventus, he who was smart enough to take the only other SA course this week, was promoted to Acolyte! Hooray.

1. Medal
   

Corin Solander was awarded a Dark Cross. Excellent!

You too can get medals and promotions if you do things, like participate in the Attacking the Clones competition.

1. Gaming
   

Max earned 6 CFs for participating in last weekend's ICTE. Good work!

1. Conclusion
   

You're probably wondering about the HMR Aedile position and its consequences. Well, we're still working that out. You see, it's a matter of putting people where we need them the most. This will also involve moving people around a bit, so we need to get in contact with everybody to see if they're satisfied with the position we want to put them in. Hopefully we'll have an announcement early next week.
