-- The gaming ladders were updated, and I'm still in that. Don't really know what the deal with it is, since all of my opponents seem kind of clueless, and nothing has really happened with it yet.

-=||=- Sklib's Random Thing of the Week -=||=-

So I've been semi-busy the past week studying for AP finals and stuff. I have AB Calc on Wednesday, and US History on Friday, so I probably won't be too available the days before those. I recommend "The Princeton Review" series of books to aid in your AP endeavors, as they helped a lot last year for me, and seem to helping this year as well.

On another note, the college search will fully engage within a month. So far on my list of colleges to visit I have U of I (Urbana-Champaign), U of I (Chicago), and St. Louis University for sure. I need to pick a smaller school, just so see if I like that type of community better, so I'll probably just take the short trip to Illinois Wesleyan (although I have no intention of going there. That and my summer job, might make some things a little difficult in GJW times, but hopefully I can pull through. We'll see how everything is when the time comes.

Relax, take a chill pill. This is the time period where we simmer down from the RoS, and start getting prepped mentally for the GJW. Small competitions that are beign run are good for keeping the rust from collecting, so do those if you can. I heavily encourage participation in the Bryar Bowl and any fiction competition you can get your hands on (preferably Vlad's EPIC fiction comp.) I'm seeing a good level of activity from the House level as a whole whether it's IRC, forums, or whatever, and I'm happy with everyone. Keep it up!
