I have returned!

Effective now I have returned from LOA. Sorry this wasn’t sooner but I’ve been out playing soldier for the last week.

Darth Babytus

Congrats to our Grand Master Sarin, who is LOA for that reason. His fall to insanity, I mean the dark side, shall soon be complete. The House Galeres officially wishes him the best.

Aedile of the House Galeres

As you might have heard, the position has been filled. I’m personally upset with the appointment, seeing as there were several better qualified candidates. But let’s congratulate Dark Jedi Knight Etah d’Tana anyway, may be not suck (speaking in the third person in awesome! >.<)

Proconsul of the Clan Arcona

Most of you are aware of the . . . . Unpleasantness, which will for the most part, not be discussed here. Grievances are being made through official channels, and in the end it may never be made right. But we’ve got to keep moving on. I want to thank most of you for acting in the best interest of the clan Arcona and cooling the fires before they got out of control. Though some needed more convincing than others (cough*Wolvie*cough).

Don’t look for the PCON position to be filled any time soon or even applications to be accepted. In the meantime, be aware that Timmy is still heading up several projects for the clan and he still speaks with the full authority of Strategos and with the full confidence of myself, Alex and Drodik.

Quaestor of the House Galeres

Applications are open from now until Sunday the 13th. There are no minimum requirements so if you think you’ve got the chops throw together an application and drop Strat a line. But if Strat and Timmy make you QUA and you suck I WILL DESTROY YOU!!!! >.<

Battle Team Leader of the Qel-Droma Phyle

After an extensive search and much witty banter a BTL for QD has been chosen. This candidate has a long history with the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and a ridicules amount of leadership experience including: Obelisk High Commander, Archon, Commander of the Guard and Proconsul of Clan Arcona. Everyone congratulate clan Arcona’s favorite curmudgeon, Dark Adept Khobai Wrathraven Arconae!

Lastly

I have a bit of an assignment for you. I’m not gonna try to “make it mandatory”. But I believe it will help you to clear the air, get some things off your chest and it will help me become a more effective leader within the DB.

- First, I would like you to give me to positives and a negative on any and all leaders within the DB past or present (mostly clan Arcona though) that you wish to comment about.

- Second, what you think a leadership role (and specifically what an AED) does or should be.

- Third, What you think you can personally do to help out.

After those subjects, feel free to include any and all comments, questions, concerns, problems, ideas or suggestions that you feel are necessary.
