The lights dim as the dark figure enters the room. Piercing blues eyes are all that can be seen beneath the cloak.....
Phoenix walks through the shadows towards the seat at the head of the room. The cloak flies off and lands on the back of the chair.
Phoenix sits and opens a channel to the clan.
First and foremost I would like to say goodbye to a great member and good friend within CSP. Selene was one of our best and will be surely missed. Though RL has taken her away from CSP, she will always have a home within our walls.
Following passage is taken from the HC QUA Report....
" R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Respect is just something that Aretha Franklin sang about. Respect is something that is absolutely critical to the functionality of everything that goes on in Clan Scholae Palatinae, as well as within the Brotherhood. I have seen many close friends lose interest in this club because of a lack of respect. Recently, the Brotherhood has seen the resignation of a DGM because of similar circumstances. While I am not privy to all the juicy details, I have much more important things to discuss with you all.
Respect is earned, not given. Do we know how respected is earned? I hope so. Respect is earned by showing it to others. I know this sounds extremely cliché and tacky, and it probably is. However, I am going to put my twist on it in an attempt to teach.
The reason CSP is so great is because we respect people. It is part of our basic moral fiber and is entirely crucial to all developments you see. If it were not for the basic respect that every leader in our clan has, we would still be knee deep in selfish quarrelsome and generally troublesome infighting that we experienced a while ago. Now, where do you fit in? Here is where you fit in
By being a part of Clan Scholae Palatinae, you have sold your soul to be the best in the Brotherhood. Along with being the best comes the arduous task of being respected and respectful. Here is how you do it Dont blow things out of proportion. We have a lot of jokers around. Frankly, things would be boring without their kind. If something is really bothering you, speak to the person about it. When you speak to the person, do it calmly, coolly, and with an open mind. If that does not work, contact your leadership. Every leader is required to take the Conflict Mediation course in the Shadow Academy, but beyond that, we want to help you resolve all of your problems before they escalate."
~Sith Battlemaster Thran Occasus, QUA of HC
Now, with that said I would like to point out once again a problem that we are having. It doesn't matter who you are buddies with, in your family, etc. when asked by a Summit Member to do something, you do it. It is called respecting the Chain of Command(See CoC on bottom of Report). Argueing, infighting, and a complete disregard for orders is unacceptable. We are moving ahead because we follow a strict code and abide by it. We do not sully ourselves by going against what has been set down upon us. Yes, at times you may think something is unfair, but in the end, it will work out for the betterment of CSP.

Zeron:
Participation in the Legions of Scholae Palatinae Project - a tome of knowledge concerning the ground forces of Clan Scholae Palatinae - a source that details history, ranks, structure, seventeen legions, countless NPCs and a fountain of opportunities for clan development and advancement in future engagements for the members of the Clan. This project spanned across twenty four (24) wiki pages, required the production of forty (40) Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) and was continually debated and re-drafted throughout the course of its development to ensure a top of the line product. Specifically, Zeron was the catalyst behind the numbers and development of this idea from its birth. He spent countless hours crunching numbers of active troops, support staff, assisted in structure and ranks and helped flesh out the details that make this project truly unique. His work behind the scenes will provide the members of the Clan a rich fictional background in future events. Link:http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/wiki/index.php?title=Legions_of_Scholae_Palatinae
Jarith:
Participation in the Legions of Scholae Palatinae Project - a tome of knowledge concerning the ground forces of Clan Scholae Palatinae - a source that details history, ranks, structure, seventeen legions, countless NPCs and a fountain of opportunities for clan development and advancement in future engagements for the members of the Clan. This project spanned across twenty four (24) wiki pages, required the production of forty (40) Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) and was continually debated and re-drafted throughout the course of its development to ensure a top of the line product. Specifically, Jarith was the catalyst behind the creation of the majority of our NPCs. Beyond generating names, he determined species, height, weight, eye color, hair color, skin color, sex and created personal 'quirks' that set each one apart - no two being the same! Few members could process this much information with as much flair and detail! Additionally, Jarith was a catalyst in the development of the ranking system from a previous concept he had proposed... majority of the ranks were taken from his proposal.

Phoenix:
Participation in the Legions of Scholae Palatinae Project - a tome of knowledge concerning the ground forces of Clan Scholae Palatinae - a source that details history, ranks, structure, seventeen legions, countless NPCs and a fountain of opportunities for clan development and advancement in future engagements for the members of the Clan. This project spanned across twenty four (24) wiki pages, required the production of forty (40) Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) and was continually debated and re-drafted throughout the course of its development to ensure a top of the line product. A Proconsul has his hands in every project on a Consul's desk and this was no exception. Phoebird was the 'board' in which Zeron and I continually bounced ideas, providing critiques concerning ranks and structure, to criticizing our initial choices for the names of Regiments & Legions. Without his voice and fingerprints on this project, I do not believe it would have been as fully functional, or accurate, as the final product is today.
RevengeX:
Participation in the Legions of Scholae Palatinae Project - a tome of knowledge concerning the ground forces of Clan Scholae Palatinae - a source that details history, ranks, structure, seventeen legions, countless NPCs and a fountain of opportunities for clan development and advancement in future engagements for the members of the Clan. This project spanned across twenty four (24) wiki pages, required the production of forty (40) Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) and was continually debated and re-drafted throughout the course of its development to ensure a top of the line product. RevengeX is a savior. When the project stalled and the workload seemed too much, he stepped in with little direction and punched through Jarith's NPCs... adding two to each Legion - as needed - and giving me a huge 'shot in the arm' to rally and complete the project. Without his assistance, time and proficiency (not to mention his critiques of my spelling and grammar) this project may have stalled and never got off the ground.
Dakari:
Participation in the Legions of Scholae Palatinae Project - a tome of knowledge concerning the ground forces of Clan Scholae Palatinae - a source that details history, ranks, structure, seventeen legions, countless NPCs and a fountain of opportunities for clan development and advancement in future engagements for the members of the Clan. This project spanned across twenty four (24) wiki pages, required the production of forty (40) Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) and was continually debated and re-drafted throughout the course of its development to ensure a top of the line product. Dakari may not be a very consistent IRC presence anymore, but I will never be able to replace this former Consul's ingenuity or ability to translate real-life military into Clan Scholae Palatinae. A list of one hundred Legions was created - a task he helped in - and he worked with the Legions team to narrow down the names, organization and final count per each Legion. He added another nice detail by proposing the idea of Companies & Platoons... and we were quick to add that information in for more detail!
Korbin:
Participation in the Legions of Scholae Palatinae Project - a tome of knowledge concerning the ground forces of Clan Scholae Palatinae - a source that details history, ranks, structure, seventeen legions, countless NPCs and a fountain of opportunities for clan development and advancement in future engagements for the members of the Clan. This project spanned across twenty four (24) wiki pages, required the production of forty (40) Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) and was continually debated and re-drafted throughout the course of its development to ensure a top of the line product. My silent partner. Korbin played a unique part in this process... he listened. I would bat hundreds of concepts, ideas and possibilities around and he would give me his honest opinion. He prevented several major (unecessary) additions, but helped us zero in on several things we did need. It was Korbin's ingenuity that led to the addition of an equipment section... and the level of detail and the scope of the section rounds it off nicely. Additionally, he located an image for use; however, we have not been able to upload it at this time. For adding more depth to an extensive project and reigning me in when I needed it... I believe he deserves this.
Scholars:
The Shadow Academy is a great tool and asset to further one's understanding of the Brotherhood, The Expanded Star Wars Universe and Leadership within the Brotherhood. In the early stages (APP, NOV, ACO) it can be a useful tool to explain the basic elements of the DJB. For the older members it is simply a way to expand their own, working knowledge base.
Scholar of the Week: This weeks Scholar is DJK Prajna Berkana with Ten Exams, AIM, Marksmanship, Astronomy, Capital Starship, Starfighter Tactics, Krath Grammar, Safe Computing History of the Sith Empire II & III and Pre-Republic History courses.

IRC:
Just because someone is not in our clan, does not give you the right to verbally assault them or go as far as saying they have no rights in our channel. When a person comes into our channel, they are equals, we do not discriminate, bash, assault, or whatever in any way. This type of behavior will not be tolerated. If someone is saying something that offends you, take it to PM and ask them to stop IN A RESPECTFUL MANNER. Also, the only members in this Clan who have the right to change the topics and ban anyone, are the House and Clan Summits.
Internet-Relay Chat (IRC) is the second (after e-mail) most accessible asset/tool within the Dark Brotherhood (DB). As a new member in the DB, IRC can provide you with real-time answers to real-time problems/questions. In fact, I was once a new member that spent countless hours on this chat service picking the minds of my Quaestor and Aedile for every facet of the Clan and DB.

-Masters:
-All masters fall under the Envoy System because that is who they must report to on the Advancement of their student.
-All trials and Reccs for promotions/medals must be first approved by the KCE and Clan Summit
Now, when it come to promotions and medals, this is how it is followed.
-Consul: May promote up to Battlemaster, Prelate and Archpriest
-Proconsul: May promote up to Warrior, Templar and Priest
-Quaestor: May promote up to Dark Jedi Knight
-Aedile: May promote up to Jedi Hunter
Which means, any promotion has to be cleared with the higher ups.
-Any member can recommend a promotion/medal, but it must be cleared through the channels.
-All Medals must be approved by the Clan summit, unless they are for something outside the clan....(i.e DBPA, GMRG work.)
-The exception to this rule would be if it were added to clan work, then it must be approved.
To add another part, all Honorary Titles(Palpatine, Paladin, etc) you still fall under the Leadership of the House you reside in. There are no exceptions to this.
Also, all information pertaining to house histories, story line's, etc. must be run through their perspective house summits and clan summit.
This is the bottom line, this is how the system works.
Any questions, concerns or "critiques" can be sent to me by pm or email.
