Ludo Kressh Quaestor Report 24th May 2007

Heya all

This is another report from your Quaestor Malisane. Hope you’re all doing alright. Not seeing a lot of activity currently, though I’d like to say a big well done to Acolyte Tal Kol on doing an amazing number of Shadow Academy Examinations and getting promoted keep up the good work there.

I’d also like to say a big welcome back to two guys good long term members of this House who rejoined us this week, Acara Rayden and Eldrad Sin, nice to see you guys back where you been?

Also congrats to Quejo on taking over my role as Clan Envoy and Horus on becoming our House Envoy here in Ludo Kressh. They’re both experienced DB members and I’m sure will do a great job along with Vladek and Rollmaster Shin’Ichi helping new members and getting them moving along the path to Dark Jedi Knight and beyond.

On the subject of new members getting moving, we’re going to be doing a big AWOL check soon to see who still wants to be active in the Clan. If you want to avoid this get busy doing something.

So what can you do? Well there’s no shortage of stuff to keep you busy. There’s Shadow Academy examinations on a vast range of Star Wars and other subjects to get your teeth into.

There’s also online gaming with a wide variety of Star Wars related games such as Jedi Academy and Outcast, Empire at War, Battlefront 1 and 2, X-Wing versus Tie Fighter and more, there’s some very good gamers on the DB to test your skills against and learn from.

If writing is more your forte there’s also writer’s corner where you can submit your own fictions for review by others and win Dark Side Scrolls, and the Dark Brotherhoods Magazine the Dark Voice also gives you a DSS for articles you write for it.

There’s also the Antei Combat Centre where you can take part in written battles against other people using a range of weapons and skills against them, and there’s an course and examination in the Shadow Academy teaching you how this works and how to sign up for it.

There’s also our two IRC channels where you can meet and chat to your fellow members and get to know them, and again the Shadow Academy offers a course on downloading MIRC and how to use it.

In addition to this there’s the competitions page where you can find competitions to take part in from your House and Clan. Currently the Attacking the Clones competitions are ongoing till the 1st of June, there’s a runon, fiction, graphics, poetry or a news article comp for you to do. This has gone well so far but there’s still a lot of Crescents available for people who take the chance to submit an entry.
