PCON REPORT: ARCONA WEEKLY

Yeah…time for that weekly PCON thing. :P Sit back, relax, and enjoy the mayhem!

Overall:

Lots of stuff going on, as usual. Competitions and updates, changes to the Clan and more stuff! The work on the Prospectus is steadily going on and now that Etah has kindly provided me with the information on local religions and as such we can move forward with the next big thing…Culture on Dajorra!

Also notable is the creation of HOOs awards…and congrats to both Callus Bo’amar and Draco Maligo on gaining the access cards to Voranyen’s laboratory! Great job guys, don’t pass out from alcohol just yet.

*The News: *

First things first…the Con-man is back! Yes, the emergency is over… :( But on the upside, this means our beloved Consul is ready to…fire me again, probably. Yeah, I don’t think he appreciated my makeover of his office. :P

There’s a new Dark Voice coming soon. The new Tribune person’s been quite active, so expect quite a few things from that angle.

There’s new ACC guidelines for handedness…read ‘em on the main site if you plan on participating in the ACC. There’s a new guide to hand to hand combat, too. :D

Finally…news about the GJW abounds. I’ve been able to glean a bit of the plot…and I must say: it pwnz! That is all. :P

Running competitions:

First! “Have you got what it takes”, by Rho, is still running. If you’re in Galeres and feel like making an instant impact on the Clan’s youngest Battleteam, here’s your chance. Three more days left to write write write…good luck. :D

“Sheild of Getsemane”, by Callus of course, is also still running. Be the most active for the month, and earn yourself an award…and quite possibly a legion of Boral from Alex, too ;) Good luck Bas-Tyra :D

In a similar vein “Pandragon Top Ace” by JScumm is currently still running, driving the potential activity for HOO through the roof…compete with Bas-Tyra for that legion!

Galeres’ runon is also still there, filled with nice stuff. It’s there on the Message Boards…and it looks, in my opinion, quite awesome. Good work guys, keep it up.

And finally, Orv Dessrx (how does one pronounce that anyway?) d’Tana has opened up a competition for Cabal Cronal, to create its own award for the Galeres Award Scheme. Have fun brainstorming, guys.

Elevations and awards of note:

Aside from the already-mentioned HOO awards, there are two true awards we should mention…Zandro Savric Erinos, of being an invaluable member of Clan Arcona, the Clan Summit has found you… guilty! As such, you are now sentenced to wearing a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. One round of applause, please, for Sith Warrior Zandro Savric Erinos!

Another is a promotion…Orv Dessrx d’Tana, newly christened Battleteam leader of Cabal Cronal…leading a Battleteam is difficult. It is even more so when you don’t even have the power to appropriately behead someone who steps out of line. As such, the Clan Summit has decided you are hereby Knighted and able to wear your own lightsaber. Good luck…and don’t let those uppity guys in the Cabal steal it! ;)

And once again, the inestimable Juda has created a splendid comic for all of us…those one having to do with Quaestor Sashar’s recent…antics. Enjoy!

Conclusion:

We’re on the right track, people. We’re growing stronger by the day in both our internal cohesion and member activity. I’m glad to see it’s come to this…give us a few more weeks like these and we’ll blow the lesser (meaning all other) Clans away in the GJW. ;)
