Consul Report #15

This report is going to be very short, since I just don't feel like writing one this week, and yet I have to in order to tell you all about all the stuff that has happened, so poo. This week has been rather busy, actually, a change from the past weeks, but a good sign with the upcoming Great Jedi War.

I'm only going to report clan news this week, since I don't feel like writing other stuff. If you want Star Wars news, though, look on Wookieepedia or starwars.com, and if you want DB news, check out the News Page, which you should be reading daily anyways.

First, the Plagueis Senate has been dissolved. This isn't because of the individuals, but because of the group as a whole. The decision was voted on by the senate. In the future, I'll be running many more polls on the CP site, though, so make sure you participate in those, because we do listen to what you think.

Second, the poll has now ended, with a decent number of votes, although a few of you didn't vote. The question was rather or not we should merge the two house websites into the clan website for one super website. This would make updating and coding easier, and the majority of the leaders liked it, so I asked you guys. In the end, an overwhelming majority voted yes, winning by a landslide. As such, this is going on the project list, but probably not until after the Great Jedi War, and definitely not until Bubba gets back. Either way, we're going to organize the CP files first, so that'll take a while, since there's probably around eight hundred to a thousand files to sort through.

Third, I'm going to briefly address IRC trouble. Clan channels are not under CoJ jurisdiction, more or less. In other words, what I say goes. I want you guys to have fun, so I'm not going to be super strict or anything. Just know a few things. If you start obsessively cursing (mainly one word in particular) or obsessively talking about sex, it's one warning then a ban. That's all.

Fourth, Scorpius, Bubba, and I are going to start a Members Archives on the clan website. For those oldies from House Exar Kun, it's a place for members to put their fiction, poems, graphics, etc. just for fun and for others to see. Often competition entries and winners will go here. As such, from hence forth if you have anything that you'd like us to show, email it to me and I'll put it in a folder for when that project is completed, again after Bubba gets back.

Wiki project goes well, right now all the remaining articles are being worked on, so I hope to finish that project before the GJW starts. I also emailed Scorps my ideas for the Clan Artifacts, so keep an ear out for news on that. ACC Venues are still in Dal's inbox, unless he deleted them, who knows. I'm going to ask him about them after I sent this report, so we'll see. I still want to get them up before the GJW starts, though.

There are tons of comps out right now, you can find them I'm sure, but one in particular is extremely easy, and takes no more than five minutes, I'm serious. The Bacon Menace is simple taking the opening crawl of Ep. I and changing it around to include bacon, the god of all gods. That's all. If I don't get super activity in this, then I'm sorry, but that's just sad. The fact that it seems as if Sakh is only getting three mini-game entries each week is also sad. I mean, come on, this stuff takes a few minutes, that's all. I'm not asking for hours upon hours, but if we want to pwn in the Great Jedi War then we need to get active.

Nonetheless, I'm still preparing to kick ass in the GJW, especially if you guys participate as much as you said. We are going to pwn, and it will be thanks to you guys, the members, because the fate of this clan rests in your hands.
