Goings-on

I would have had this out earlier but I was suffering under the joys of irritable bowel syndrome for a large chunk of this weekend. Suckage. Anyways, it is really dry in the US Midwest and while that means low humidity it also means..well...no rain. Oh and I hope all you people who get Cartoon Network tuned in Sunday for the Star Wars special. It was quite humorous but I didn't see anything on youtube just yet. I'd give it a day or so for someone to post the whole episode up. Check it out when you can!

Kazerelth left our little group to go back to lead the Praxeum. He felt more at home there so I don't blame him for wanting to switch back. BTs kind of grow on you to the point that you feel like it's home. You do lots of fun things with other members and you get to know them. It's like family and you do feel kinda sad if you are ripped away from it.

This weeks winner of the Wednesday trivia is Tyrus. He had the most correct answers done in the form of a question which was one of the requirements. Be sure you pay attention to any special requirements as those who fulfill those said requirements will place higher than someone who ignores the special rules. Only two more rounds to go!

Well looks like Windos is now the Aedile of Gladius. Big congrats to him. I've never been in that particular position but I bet it's just as fun as being Quaestor. Maybe we'll start seeing more of our House summits now that it is summer. I don't think I've been on mIRC for over a week now. Sorry I'm not big on wasting my time in chat rooms. I don't have much to waste really.

The Clan run-on is still going on. There is still time to make a few posts and be considered for the medal award. If anyone needs any help developing a post just email me. Also, if you are looking to break into the ACC, I am a staff member who is available for training/qualification matches. I am not biased so bring your A game if you want to pass.

Alright now for some award and SA test news. Brimstone passed the Weapons Basics test. Tyrus passed the Obelisk Core and the History of the Sith Empire I tests. Tyrus was also awarded 8 Cluster of Fires. The biggest thing that happened though was Brimstone got a promotion! He is now a Guardian so drinks and congratulations all around!

Ok one last thing before all the competition info. Attached to this report is a document containing only part of Chapter 2 of the character development thing I'm developing. Along with it goes a competition and some other things you can choose to do. I highly suggest putting in your thoughts in the discussion. Anyways, the other half will come out after the competition is over. I debated over whether to break it up or not and I decided that would be the best course of action.

There's always the weekly SA trivia held on IRC. In the #SA channel and on the message board every Saturday at approximately 1300 EST. Make sure you check the DB news page for weekly updates.

Oh and there's the Inter Club Training Event or ICTE that happens every Saturday in the #outerrim channel. You'll need some games for that. There's also the Gaming nights during the week if you happen to fancy a game. I'm not sure when these happen or what schedule rotation it is on so just hop into #dbgaming to see what's going on.

Ramblings and Other Such Things

Work Related Fun – It wasn't a bad week and that worries me. Usually when we go into lulls we get slammed with more stuff than we can move in two nights. Auditors were in. I hate those guys. They like to constantly change the rules without telling anyone until they audit your flight and slam you with their change like it was always a rule. They get in the way, slow things down, and overall have lost their grip on how things run. Oh yes, they use to be part of the slave force but now they are the ones putting spikes in the whips thinking it will improve productivity. Nobody like them and I'm sure one of these days being sarcastic with them or looking at them wrong will be against the rules.

Thought of the Week – "There will be times when you meet a person who will stab you in the back and point the finger of blame directly at you every chance they get. Best thing to do is to ignore those types but if that fails, be sure to have ammo of your own to fire back repeatedly."
